Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 includes a number of twists, but there are some aspects that remain the same. From the beginning, you have to figure out if any toys are your allies in Playtime Co.'s abandoned factory and which toys those might be. It doesn't help that some toys have unclear motives, making it hard to decide who you can trust.
Poppy's true identity is now known and has received mixed responses in Poppy Playtime, especially with the ending of Chapter 4. A fair number of players have renewed their idea of her being a villain, but some fans have pointed out that Poppy isn't a villain, and there wasn't any way that she could help the player at the end of the chapter, despite what some of the community believe.

There's no way for Poppy to defend herself against the Prototype, Kissy Missy is already injured and not doing that well, and you've lost the only plan you had to gain an advantage, since the Prototype knew about the explosives as Ollie. The only option is splitting up. Kissy Missy isn't a real threat to him, so he might not bother her on her own. Poppy can fit into smaller places, but she's his main target. You might also be on the list as a threat, but it seems like he can't be in three places at once.
Poppy Isn't The Villain
She Wants Freedom
While Poppy has done questionable things during the game, she's not a villain. She's helped you more than once, and her goal is to finally end this dark chapter in Playtime Co.'s history, setting free herself and the other toys, even if that freedom is obtained through death. The problem is that she doesn't have the ability to carry out plans on her own due to her small size and lack of physical abilities.
