Pokémon Trading Card Game collectors will soon be able to buy eight special Eevee-themed collectible mini-tins. The tins will be part of the Prismatic Evolutions set, scheduled to be released in the West on January 17. The set will contain cards from Japan's Terastal Festival ex and ex Starter Deck Generations sets, among which are Eevee and its eight evolutions.

The Scarlet & Violet Prismatic Evolutions mini tins were revealed on the official Pokémon website, along with additional information on their content and the release date. The tins contain booster packs, coins, an art card, and the tin itself, which is collectible for its striking art. Each Pokémon is shown sitting on a rock of a corresponding color, with a tranquil natural background. The tins will be available for purchase on February 7, 2025, at the Pokémon Center and anywhere else that Pokémon cards are sold.

What's Included In The Pokémon TCG Mini Tins Collectibles

Eight Eevee Evolutions With Cards, Coins, And More

Pokemon scarlet and violet eeveelution mini tins

There are eight different tins to collect, and although each tin has a different Pokémon on the cover, all eight otherwise contain the same items. The Prismatic Evolutions mini tins each contain the following items:

  • 2 Prismatic Evolutions booster packs
  • An Eevee coin in a color corresponding to the featured Pokémon
  • An art card with the art from the tin

No price has been revealed for the tin, but previous tins go for about $10 USD on the Pokémon Center website, so the Eevee tins can be expected to cost about the same.

There are eight tins, with each of the Eevee evolutions: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon. The tins are similar to previous mini tin collections, with art that can be combined into a full picture, and a themed collection of Pokémon related to the TCG set they represent. Eevee-themed cards and designs are especially popular among collectors, so fans who want to own any (or all) of these collectibles may need to act fast before they potentially sell out.

The Pokémon TCG Continuous Art Pieces Make The Cards More Special

There Are Several Examples In Physical And Digital Cards

The Pokémon TCG mini tins are special for their unique artwork, which forms a complete art piece when placed side by side. The tins and the art cards they include can be positioned in such a way that the Eevee evolutions are all standing in one location, with the backgrounds lining up perfectly. This isn't the first time that Pokémon has included continuous art on their cards, both on the physical cards and in the more recent mobile game Pokémon TCG Pocket.

Fun fact: Although Eevee doesn't get a tin of its own, it makes a cameo in the background art of several of the tins. Can you spot them all?

For instance, parts of Snorlax can be seen on a few other cards, capturing a moment in time across four cards. The art on Pokémon Trading Card Game cards is already beautiful, and the company makes it extra special by creating special surprises when cards are placed together.
