New Cards Revealed For Journey Together
New Cards, Including Trainer's Pokémon, Expected For Journey Together
Journey Together brings tons of exciting new cards into the Pokémon TCG mix. The set draws inspiration from the confirmed Trainer's Pokémon include Iono's Bellibolt ex and Hop's Zacian ex.
Each of these cards brings something exciting to the fold. Lillie’s Clefairy ex, for example, has 190 HP and high damage potential. As a general ex rule, once this Pokémon is knocked out, opponents will be granted two prize cards. However, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages because Lillie’s Clefairy ex has the ability Fairy Zone, which doubles the opponent’s weakness in multiplayer. This card also has Full Moon Rondo, a ive that does 20 more damage for each Benched Pokémon.
N’s Zoroark ex card is another fantastic card players will want to use for its draw power and tactical flexibility. With its Trade ability, players may draw two cards in exchange for discarding one, cycling through useless cards for the chance to access key resources. N’s Zoroark also allows players to choose one benched N’s Pokémon's attacks and use it.
Pokémon TCG players have a lot to look forward to in 2025. Beyond the Journey Together set, TCG is also looking at future releases. Scarlet & Violet 10 is expected in May and will likely feature cards from Steven's Metagross ex and Marnie's Grimmsnarl ex. Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex is also likely to appear in the Scarlet & Violet 10 release. Then, in June, all 156 Unova Pokémon will be featured in a Black Bolt and White Flare set, exclusive right now to Japan.
These future releases will continue to build from the momentum of Journey Together, with new Trainer's Pokémon and plenty of exciting cards to look forward to throughout 2025. Journey Together is just the beginning of a thrilling year for Pokémon TCG fans.
