The latest trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's open-world features, with the player able to see nearby Pokémon on the minimap. This trailer seemingly revealed more than was intended, though, since the minimap showed Pokémon that have yet to be announced - as seen on the Centro Leaks Twitter page. The minimap showed a Rookidee from Pokémon Sword and Shield, along with three new Pokémon designs.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Minimap Has Confirmed More Leaked Pokémon
The minimap shows a pair of mice-like Pokémon, a rocklike mushroom that resembles something from the Super Mario Bros. series, and a green bird Pokémon. This might sound like it's meant to be four Pokémon, but the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet leaks have mentioned that there is a mouse duo Pokémon, which evolves into a family of mice in a similar concept to Kangaskhan and even has one of Pokémon's best Abilities in the game, in the form of Parental Bond. The mushroom design, according to previous leaks, is a dual-type Pokémon with Grass as one of its types. The bird design is a Pokémon inspired by a parakeet, which is a Normal/Flying-type Pokémon with multiple evolutions - again, according to leaks.
The new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trailer confirmed a number of leaks regarding the game, with the appearance of the Girafarig evolution and picnics giving free Pokémon Eggs now being official.
