In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Lechonk is a Normal-type found commonly throughout Paldea. Described as a Hog Pokémon, Lechonk is a picky eater whose scent fends off bugs. Anyone hoping to catch Lechonk will find it easy as they are found very early on in the game.

Lechonk is a Normal-type Pokemon listed as number 10 in the Pokédex, followed by its evolution, Oinkologne. Both evolutions are of the Normal-type, although one of its early moves is Disarming Voice, a Fairy-type move. They can also gain the ability "Aroma Veil," which can protect itself and any allies from effects that prevent the use of moves. This can make Lechonk a well-rounded addition to any team.

After choosing a starter Pokémon in Scarlet or Violet, Nemona will lead the player to Poco Path, this is the first chance players will have to catch Lechonk. Normally, they can be found throughout southern Paldea, including any Southern Province, Areas One through Five, as well as East Province Areas One and Two.

To catch a higher level Lechonk, after completing the tutorial in the Academy, players will be able to explore all of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Heading north from the town of Artazon should lead right to the grasslands of East Province Area One. There will be higher-level Lechonks roaming the fields, as well as catchable versions of its evolution, Oinkologne. Oinkologne can be a tough opponent early on, which might make it harder to catch for new trainers. However, if the trainer chooses to complete the Grass-type Gym prior to heading there, it will be much easier to catch.

With the new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the feeling of being able to roam and catch Pokémon is more freeing than ever. With vast possibilities around every corner, Lechonk can make a sturdy and reliable addition to the team.
