The Normal-type is unique in the Pokémon world. Not only does it only have one weakness, to Fighting, but also one immunity, to Ghost. However, it isn't Super Effective against anything and is the least resisted type, thus making it slightly situational.
Normal types are abundant in the Pokémon world. They are usually found in the first routes of most games and can be good companions early on. They are also rather cute, particularly in their first stages. Indeed, Normal probably has the sweetest-looking Pokémon in the franchise, besides some lose their cuteness once they evolve, others stay just as charming and adorable as ever.
Wooloo
One of the franchise's most recent additions, Wooloo made its debut in Pokémon Sword & Shield. It plays a major role in the games, functioning as the first Pokémon of the rival character, Hop. Wooloo's thick coat of white wool gives it the appearance of a large, round, huggable sphere. Indeed, Wooloos have an extremely fluffy body that can even help them survive high falls.
Wooloo's fur is very popular in Galar, being used for clothing, carpets, and product. It dislikes conflict and avoids it by rolling away from it. Wooloos are usually herded by another, equally cute Galarian Pokémon, Yamper.

Stufful is tied with Mankey as the smallest Fighting-Type, although it is surprisingly strong. It is said its flail is powerful enough to break even the thickest of trees.
Its fluffy fur and overall cute appearance make it incredibly popular in Alola. However, Stufful dislikes being touched and will flail its arms if someone tries it.
Audino
Known as the Hearing Pokémon, Audinos are natural healers. The feelers on their ears act as stethoscopes, able to hear other Pokémon's heartbeats and allowing them to know the Pokémon's feelings and physical condition. These gentle creatures are said to have a kind heart, which makes them natural companions for the multiple Nurse Joys in Unova, who use them instead of Chancey.
Audino can Mega Evolve using the Audinite. In its Mega form, it can release healing pulses that also reduce hostility, confirming its reputation as one of the sweetest Pokémons around.
Chansey
The Egg Pokémon, Chansey is a pink creature shaped like a large egg. It has stubby arms and dark pink feet, tiny eyes, and three hair-like growths coming out of each side of its head. Kindhearted and calm, Chansey shares its eggs with injured people and Pokémons and even has an egg-related signature move, Soft-Boiled.
The more love a Chansey receives, the more delicious its eggs are. These eggs are used as a delicacy in the Pokémon world and also possess high nutritional values. Chansey is rare in the wild and seeing one is considered to be good luck.
Minccino
Clearly based on a chinchilla, Mincicino is small, furry, gray, and unbelievably cute. It has large ears and a long tail, all three ending in a white tip. Minccinos are neat freaks and use their tail to sweep their own dens. They also use it to salute each other, and as a way to perform their former signature move, Tail Slap.
Minccino evolves into Cinccino when exposed to a Shiny Stone. Cinccino's fur is often used as a skin treatment in Unova, and it also a natural repellent of dust and electricity.
Lillipup
Lillipup is a puppy and who on earth doesn't love puppies? One of Unova's most popular Pokémons due to how easy it is to train, Lillipup is also rather smart and can judge an opponent's strength. It never yelps, which also makes it the ideal companion for trainers living in confined places like apartments.
Lillipups can be grudgeful. If their trainers treat them badly, they'll and retaliate once they evolve into Herdier at level 16, refusing to obey. However, if they are loved and cared for, they'll become incredibly loyal and friendly to their trainer.
Jigglypuff
One of the franchise's most recognizable and popular Pokémon, Jigglypuff has been around since the early days of Generation I. A pink, spherical creature with big, round blue eyes, Jigglypuff's body is filled with air and can deflate until it's completely flat. It can also float and hover.

Eevee's design has a unique story. Motofumi Fujiwara, a key designer in Game Freak, revealed in 2018 that Eevee is inspired by a vague childhood memory of an unknown creature he found in the woods. As such, it's not exactly based on any animal and is instead meant to remind people of fluffy cats and dogs.
