Eevee fans can rejoice: Pokémon is making 2025 all about Eevee and its evolutions. Every year, the company highlights Eevee and the Eeveelutons in November, since November 21 is the official Eevee Day. The special day's celebrations typically spill over into the rest of the month, often making November a whole month full of Eevee merch and goodies.

Not content with just keeping the Eevee party confined to one month, the Pokémon Company will be making the entire year all about the fox-like Normal-type Pokémon and its eight evolutions. The Pokémon Center has just announced that 2025 will be the "Year of Eevee" (sic), promising many Eevee-tastic moments and merch to come. The company will be putting "the Evolution Pokémon [...] in the spotlight with an abundance of adorable products on the way."

Eevee-Themed Pokémon Merch Drops Are Planned For The Coming Year

The Eevee Takeover Of The Pokémon Center Has Already Begun

As part of the "Year of Eevee" event, the Pokémon Center promises "an abundance of Eevee" all year, with "plenty of exciting products to look forward to." Since the Pokémon is a fan favorite, a lot of merch already exists depicting Eevee and all its evolutions, but it seems that there are even more intriguing items in the works for the year.

A few merch items have already been confirmed for release sometime in 2025, including the following items that will depict Eevee and its evolutions:

• Figures that showcase each evolution's "unique attitudes"
• Adventure partner keychains
• Pearlescent Funko Pop! figures
• Kitchen designs
• Plushies

The Center is kicking things off with a restock of nearly all the evolutions' Pokémon Dolls plushies in the online store. Fans will also be getting special edition Pokémon TCG Prismatic Evolutions tins with Eevee-themed designs, which were announced earlier this month and will be available in February.

A New Pokémon Game Is Planned For 2025

In the announcement of Eevee Day celebrations in November 2024, the Pokémon Center announced that they would be celebrating the "beloved Normal-type Pokémon that has a whopping eight different known Evolutions." The key word here, I believe, is "known." By phrasing it this way, the Pokémon Company hints that more Eevee evolutions are yet to be discovered. I wonder, then, if part of the reason why Pokémon is celebrating Eevee this year is that they plan to reveal a new evolution.

The next game in the franchise, Pokémon Legends: Z-A is takes place in the past or the future (or maybe even both). The previous Pokémon Legends game, Arceus, introduced several variations on existing mons and even a few brand-new creatures, so it wouldn't be completely out of character to use the Pokémon game to add a new Eeveelution. Until then, Eevee fans can stock up on all things Eevee, from merch to Pokémon cards and beyond at the Pokémon Center.
