PlayStation Plus has announced another crop of games coming to the service in February 2025. A service for PS4 and PS5 players, PS Plus allows subscribers to access online gaming functionality. As an added bonus, it also includes (usually) three free games per month. At its higher tiers, Extra and , players are also granted access to a persistent Game Catalog, featuring hundreds of titles available for play at no additional cost. Games are occasionally added to or removed from the Catalog as well.
This month's reveal of the three Essential games comes along with the announcement of PS Plus' shift away from the PS4. While in previous months, the service typically made a point of releasing free PS4 titles alongside PS5 games, it'll have a greater focus on PS5 exclusives in 2026. However, there are still plenty of great PS4 games to come, including two this month alongside one PS5 exclusive, as per usual. Here's everything players can expect from PS Plus' Essential, Extra, and tiers in February 2025.
Every Game Coming To PS Plus Essential Tier In February 2025
Every Free Game On PS Plus This Month
All PS Plus subscribers will get access to three free games in February 2025: Payday 3, High on Life, and Pac-Man World: Re-Pac. As per usual, all three of these games are the player's to keep, as long as they remain subscribed to PS Plus. Payday 3 is this month's sole PS5 exclusive. It's a co-op first-person shooter centered around a crack team of thieves as they pull off a series of heists. Players must choose whether to complete each job through stealth or with brute force, as each one takes on a unique role to ensure the team gets out as quickly as possible with an armful of loot.

"Smart, Fun, And Chaotic In Every Way" - Payday 3 Review
Payday 3 offers a new story & more refined gameplay, but struggles to deliver the former or create a smooth onboarding process for new players.
Up next is High on Life, an FPS available on both PS4 and PS5. High on Life received mixed reviews, with critiques focused on the quality of its gameplay. Its irreverent sense of humor, told through talking guns and obsessive aliens, is divisive; some players love it, others hate it. It features an all-star voice cast, including the likes of Tom Kenny, Tim Robinson, J.B. Smoove, Jack Black, and Susan Sarandon. It's a rather short, silly game that's certainly not for everyone, but certainly has its fans.
Finally, there's Pac-Man World: Re-Pac, a remake of the PS1 platformer for PS4 and PS5. In a departure from typical Pac-Man gameplay, this one plays more like a traditional platformer. Players will jump over gaps and pick up power-ups as they search for a series of keys to unlock new areas and discover secrets. Pac-Man World is short, but sweet, and is an undeniably fun diversion.
Every Game Coming To And Leaving PS Plus Extra & In February 2025
What's New On PS Plus' Game Catalog
Unfortunately, no new games have been confirmed for PS Plus Extra and in February 2025 at the time of writing. Typically, PS Plus will reveal additional games for its higher tiers throughout the month, instead of an early reveal like it does for its Essential games. However, there are eight games known to be leaving PS Plus Extra and in February 2025. See below for the full list:
- Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition
- The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition
- Outriders
- Scarlet Nexus
- Tales of Arise
- Tales of Symphonia Remastered
- Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition
- Tales of Zestiria
All of these games will become unavailable through PS Plus on February 18, after which subscribers will need to purchase them separately if they wish to continue playing. It's worth noting that several Bandai Namco RPGs (the latter five listed above) will be removed from PS Plus this month. It's unknown whether any of them will return. Keep an eye out for additional news, as Sony may announce further additions to and removals from PlayStation Plus as February 2025 goes on.
