More details about would launch an Android tablet called the Pixel Tablet in 2023, but save for a handful of images and a few details, not a lot was revealed. Google's decision to launch a tablet follows its recent renewed interest in large-screen devices.

The tech giant has been working with Samsung to improve Android for this category of devices, including foldables. The result of that partnership is Android 12L. Alongside this, several Google apps are now better designed for large-screen devices. Before those mentioned above, it also launched new software features such as Kids Space, a kid-friendly Android tablet mode, and Entertainment Space, a personalized section that contains games, movies, TV shows and books.

It is not yet known when Google plans to unveil the tablet in 2023. However, these new details discovered by the Twitter and developer Kuba Wojciechowski (a first-party USI 2.0 stylus from Google which will work with the Android tablet.

There are reports that the Pixel Tablet will pull double duty — serving as a tablet and a smart home display. Nevertheless, it will be packing lots of storage for both use cases. As spotted by the source, the Pixel Tablet will be available in 128GB and 256GB storage options. As earlier reported, the first-gen Google Tensor chip will be the heart of the tablet. Unfortunately, there is no mention of MicroSD card , and that is not likely to be present since even Pixel phones don't have a MicroSD card slot.

In addition, the tablet will lack a GPS module and a modem but will have for Wi-Fi 6. It also won't have a proximity sensor. Renders of the Pixel Tablet show that it will have white bezels around the display with a single camera in front. It will also have a single camera on the back, which appears to be made of plastic. When It launches, Google is expected to ship it with Android 13 preinstalled.
