What made Pickle stand out alongside the rest of her costars is how she is the youngest person on the show. Alongside her agem Pickle is also one of the few women to appear in Swamp People.

At just 29 years old, Pickle is no stranger to the swamp as she comes from a long line of alligator hunters, being introduced to it by her grandfather. According to Pickle's History Channel Bio, her great-grandfather was one of the original alligator hunters in the St. Bernard Parish. Pickle's deep understanding of alligator hunting through her lineage, is a big reason she can be so successful despite being so young.
Pickle Is Expecting Her Second Child With Partner Joshua Kippes
Outside of her appearances on Swamp People, Pickle lives a full life, which she shares on Instagram. On October 18, 2024, Pickle even revealed that she was pregnant. This will be the second child she has with her partner, Joshua Kippes, as they had a little girl early in 2023. With season 16 of Swamp People done filming, Pickle's pregnancy will likely not affect her appearances in the season, though it's unknown if her growing family will affect her appearances.
With the later seasons of Swamp People mostly premiering in January, season 16 is likely to follow suit.
It is unclear just how long Pickle and Joshua Kippes have been dating, but they announced their first pregnancy back in November 2022. Fans of the show should be happy seeing one of the show's biggest stars thriving both in front of the cameras and behind. Pickle Wheat is an integral part of what makes Swamp People such an enduring show, and if her own lineage is any indication, she will on everything she knows about alligator-hunting to her kids.
