It's truly incredible to see how far One Piece has come over the years. A recent statement from Dragon Ball’s editor has been circulating after he revealed his true thoughts about Oda's series. Former manga magazine editor, Kazuhiko Torishima, stated that One Piece is the only reason Shōnen Jump Magazine is still alive and well today, providing further confirmation of the impact of Oda’s masterpiece.

However, Torishima's original feelings towards the series were much different, stating that there was no way” One Piece would become a popular manga. Obviously, this was far from the truth, and Oda’s series continues to make history, this time on the runway.

With creators contributing to One Piece’s world domination left and right, it is unsurprising that the franchise has made its way into the fashion world. However, Aoki has truly made waves in the fashion world by incorporating his love of anime into his collection. The Dim Mak x One Piece collaboration collection premiered at 2024’s NYFW and is currently available on the official Dim Mak website, thanks to American DJ and producer, Steve Aoki.
