The remake of Rumors of an Oblivion remake to address these issues have been ongoing since at least the beginning of the year.

But at the same time, Oblivion is undeniably iconic, and maintains a significant fan base today. A remake will undoubtedly garner all sorts of praise, criticism, and comparison, both to the original Oblivion and to the fan-made remake in the Skyrim engine, Skyblivion (which is still in development). All eyes will be on Bethesda's livestream to find out more about this highly anticipated release.

According to a post on the official Elder Scrolls X (formerly Twitter) page, the Oblivion remake reveal will be streamed live on Bethesda's official YouTube and Twitch s. The simultaneous livestreams will begin on April 22, at 11:00 AM ET/8:00 AM PT in the US, and 4:00 PM BST.

The Remake Is Still A Mystery

Frankly, there's a lot we don't know about the Oblivion remake livestream, much like the remake itself, and that includes its runtime. It could be a quick, 30-second teaser, or it could be an hour-long deep dive into Oblivion remake were purportedly leaked last week, there's no way to know whether those were accurate until we finally see in-game screenshots for ourselves.

Rumor also has it that the Oblivion remake could be shadowdropped immediately after its reveal during Bethesda's livestream tomorrow. It's important to note, though, that this has never been addressed by Bethesda; it's entirely possible that this is just a rumor. It's also been suggested that the Oblivion remake could be a day-one Game release, similar to other recent Microsoft-published remakes like Ninja Gaiden Black.

What we do know, though, is that the remake is all but confirmed, and, barring a surprise Elder Scrolls 6 reveal, it's likely to be the sole focus of the livestream tomorrow.
