Not long after the sophomore season's release window was teased, the latest news reveals the release date and trailer for Nine Perfect Strangers season 2. The Hulu original hit will now premiere on May 21, 2025, and drop its first two episodes before shifting to a weekly release for the remainder of the season.

As for the trailer, it sets the stage for more of Masha's machinations as the titular nine arrive at a swanky mansion in the Alps. Except for one couple, the group is all strangers, but as they begin to dive into their wellness journey, they find there may be a link between them. Masha herself seems to be cracking behind-the-scenes, and her downward spiral threatens to bring her clients down as well. Each of Masha's clients is expected to examine their dark pasts, but she may be using their trauma for her own purposes.

Emmy winner Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus) will appear as Brian, an ex-children's show host who still carries around his puppet. Multi-award-winner Christine Baranski (The Gilded Age) will also star in the season as Victoria.

Annie Murphy (Black Mirror) is set to play the role of Imogen, while Mark Strong (The Catcher Was a Spy) will play David. Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) will appear as Peter, while the role of Helena will be played by Lena Olin (Chocolat). With the release of the trailer, it's been confirmed that most of the cast will be Masha's clients, all of whom her for a wellness retreat at a mansion in the Alps.
