A rebirth of NBC's original Night Court from the 1980s, the Night Court remake features excellent characters that are heavily inspired by the show's original cast several decades ago. The show even includes one original cast member in a returning role. With such an energetic cast, the Night Court characters create thoroughly enjoyable performances that make the sitcom hard to ignore.

Melissa Rauch as Abby Stone

Date Of Birth: June 23, 1980

Actor: Rauch was born in New Jersey, and she had her big break on The Big Bang Theory where she played Bernadette Rostenkowski. Rauch is a prolific voice actor as well and has appeared in a number of animations. Besides her acting, she is also known for producing several movies, including Bridesmaids.

Character: Rauch plays Abby Stone, a friendly judge who takes over her late father's role as the night shift judge on the Manhattan Municipal Court. She is a comedic character who has to learn to balance her ideals with the quirky group of people she meets every night. This is on top of trying to maintain her father's legacy.

John Larroquette as Dan Fielding

Date Of Birth: November 25, 1947

Actor: Larroquette was born in Louisiana, and he made it big in Baa Baa Black Sheep in the 1970s. Over the years, he has collected an impressive number of awards for his work in comedies. Larroquette also starred in the original Night Court as the same character in the remake, Dan Fielding.

Character: Larroquette plays Dan Fielding, the best friend to Abby's late father, and the former assistant district attorney. He returned to Abby's court as a public defender. Dan has maintained his humor between the two shows, making him a highly likable character.

Gary Anthony Williams as Flobert

Date Of Birth: March 14, 1966

Actor: Williams was born in Georgia, and he is best known for his voice acting in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Williams has appeared in a number of animations as a voice actor, but he is also well known for his work in comedies, especially for his skills as an improvisational comedian. He ed Night Court in season 1 as Flobert.

Character: Flobert is a hilarious, oddball judge who substitutes for Abby when she cannot attend work. While he does not appear in every episode, Flobert's appearance makes every scene with him in it worth watching. He first appeared in the Night Court holiday episode in season 1.

Lacretta as Donna "Gurgs" Guganous

Actor: Lacretta has appeared in a variety of TV shows and movies since she began acting in 2012. However, it was in Night Court that she had her first big break. She plays Donna "Gurgs" Guganous and has been a series regular since the show's premiere.

Character: Gurgs is the bailiff at the Manhattan Municipal Court. She is friendly and works well with Abby while also working hard at her job to ensure the safety of others. She is one of the best characters on Night Court due to her likability.

Nyambi Nyambi as Wyatt Shaw

Date Of Birth: April 26, 1979

Actor: Nyambi was born in Oklahoma, and he had his first big break in Mike & Molly as Samuel. Since then, Nyambi has also appeared in a variety of movies and TV shows in both large and small roles. Besides his appearances in sitcoms, Nyambi is also best known for his work as Jay DiPersia in The Good Fight.

Character: Nyambi's Wyatt first appears in Night Court in season 2 as a court clerk. He gets along well with most of his colleagues but is friendliest with Gurgs and Abby. His character was promoted to a series regular in season 3 after Kapil Talwalkar's exit, who played the previous court clerk.

Wendie Malick as Julianne Walters

Date Of Birth: December 13, 1950

Actor: Malick was born in New York, and she made it big in Just Shoot Me! where she played Nina. Malick is best known for her roles in comedies, and she is also a prolific voice actor, like several of her costars. Her recent work includes her portrayal of President Hagemeyer in Young Sheldon.

Character: Julianne is essentially replacing India de Beaufort's Olivia, who left following season 2. Julianne first appeared in Night Court season 1 as a major villain who sought revenge on Dan, who had prosecuted her 30 years ago. Her return is sure to shake things up and cause tense conflict with Larroquette's Dan.

Mayim Bialik as herself: Best known for her work playing Amy on The Big Bang Theory, Mayim Bialik is ing Night Court as a guest star. She will play herself as a defendant in Abby's court. Bialik and Rauch have performed together before, as Rauch was also a starring character in The Big Theory.

Ryan Hansen as Jake: Hansen plays Abby's boyfriend, Jake. While he does not appear on the show very often, he is an important member of Abby's life. Night Court season 2 revealed that Dan might be Jake's biological father in an exciting twist.

Julia Duffy as Susan: Duffy plays Jake's mom, Susan, in Night Court. Her appearances are limited but are an important part of the search for Jake's father. A key scene with her involves a conversation between her and Abby as Abby tries to find out the truth.
