Boba Fett actor Temuera Morrison has teased the prospect of him appearing in more clone troopers in the Star Wars Battlefront franchise.

Following a rocky period at the beginning of the 2010s where EA was given exclusive access to the Star Wars license, Lucasfilm Games has begun to branch out and approach other publishers and studios to create titles situated within the galaxy far, far away. Some of the more noteworthy projects fans have been made aware of include Ubisoft's open-world title as well as the long-anticipated Knights of the Old Republic remake being developed by Aspyr. There are also likely other projects that Lucasfilm is yet to reveal, with Star Wars set for a much busier decade in the gaming medium than it had in the 2010s.

During an interview at Star Wars Celebration with unannounced Star Wars game. The actor discussed the difficulties of video game voice acting compared to screen acting, but also shared his enthusiasm for some of the previous gaming projects he has contributed to in a galaxy far, far away, such as Star Wars: Republic Commando. Morrison then capped off the discussion by saying that "There will be some coming, I can let you know that."

Boba Fett fires his blaster in Battlefront 2

With the roles of Jango Fett, Boba Fett, and all of the clone troopers under his belt, Temuera Morrison has a long and storied history with Star Wars video games. The list includes the likes of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, Republic Commando, and the majority of the Battlefront franchise, although other voice actors have stepped in to voice clones in his absence, most notably Dee Bradley Baker, who voiced the clones in 2008's The Clone Wars series and in EA's Star Wars Battlefront 2. Regardless, Morrison's presence in the franchise has experienced a resurgence as of late, with the actor portraying Boba Fett in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Morrison also cameoed in Obi-Wan Kenobi as a clone trooper who had fallen upon hard times, which illustrates his ability to portray a variety of characters in the franchise.

Temuera Morrison's roles in the Star Wars universe lend themselves perfectly to a wide variety of games where he could serve as a protagonist. Hopefully this potential tease proves to be true and fans will be soon treated to a new experience as a clone or bounty hunter in the galaxy far, far away.
