Summer might not be traditional binge-watching season - it’s so bright and sunny outside! But if you want to catch these movies before they leave Netflix, it might be time to close the curtains and get watching… because they are on the way out this month!
The only TV series leaving the streaming service in July is Real Husbands of Hollywood (which departs July 8), so there’s no need to take in entire TV series before they disappear… however, there are a couple of movie franchises that are on the way out, so fans of Bring It On and Lethal Weapon might want to dedicate a couple days to a movie marathon. Other than that, pop the corn, get settled in, and enjoy these great films before they are gone.

15. An Honest Liar
This feature documentary focuses on the fascinating life of James ‘The Amazing’ Randi. A magician and escape artist, Randi also devoted his life to exposing frauds - faith healers, psychics and con-artists. Well-received on the festival circuit, this is definitely a documentary worth watching.

14. Before Midnight
The third movie in this trilogy about the stages of love and romance, Before Midnight takes the same couple who met on a train in Vienna in Before Sunrise and re-visits them two decades later to explore how love changes after a long marriage. Sometimes uncomfortable, it is still beautiful - although the first two films (Before Sunrise and Before Sunset) are not available to stream, making a marathon impossible.

13. Bring It On
This competitive cheerleading franchise launched in 2000 with Bring It On, and now all five films in the series are leaving netflix on July 1. Bring It On, Bring It On Again, Bring It On: All or Nothing, Bring It On: Fight to the Finish and Bring It On: In It to Win It are all departing, and while not all of them live up to the original, fans of the series may want to binge while they still can.

12. Cocktail
This classic Tom Cruise rom com inspired a whole generation of guys to want to become bartenders - and it’s about to leave the streaming service, so grab your cocktail shakers for a final watch before it’s gone! Co-starring Elisabeth Shue as the love interest, this is a perfect light summer flick.

11. Lethal Weapon
Another franchise leaving Netflix in its entirety this month is Lethal Weapon, with Lethal Weapon and Lethal Weapon 2, 3, and 4 all gone on the first of the month. Fans of classic ‘80s and ‘90s buddy cop movies may want to catch them all before they’re gone.

10. Michael Clayton
George Clooney and Tilda Swinton star in this Oscar-winning crime drama. Clooney is the titular Michael Clayton, a fixer for a major new york law firm, responsible for finding loopholes and skirting the law for high-paying clients… but he soon finds himself in a web of conspiracy when a fellow lawyer appears to have a breakdown. A must for fans of legal thrillers.

9. Midnight In Paris
Woody Allen gives time travel a whirl in this romantic comedy starring Owen Wilson. Wilson portrays nostalgic writer Gil, a man with a penchant for the stories of the 1920s. While in Paris with his materialistic fiancee, Gil discovers that if he stands at a specific corner at midnight, he will be transported back to that decade to meet the greats… and to learn some hard truths about himself and his relationship.

8. Scary Movie
This horror parody launched a franchise with four further installments, although none of the later films (the imaginatively named Scary Movie 2, 3, 4, and 5) are available to stream on Netflix. The original (and many would say best) of the series, Scary Movie gets its laughs from gross out humor and plenty of gore, which horror comedy fans will get a kick out of.

The last of the Terminator 6, a reboot that will hit the big screen in November 2019.

6. V For Vendetta
This comic book adaptation is far from the realms of the DCEU, and it’s definitely not superhero fare for the whole family. Instead, this dark film takes place in a dystopian future with the world under a fascist regime, and a mysterious figure named V who is determined to take them down.
