NBA 2K24 will provide enhanced animations and movements taken from actual NBA footage with the use of 2K Games' new ProPLAY technology that deepens the realism of the experience for fans. Even crossplay multiplayer has been added to the game, although this functionality is limited to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms.

This time around, developers have added a special MAMBA Moments mode that gives players a series of challenges to complete from the legacy of Kobe Bryant. Each of these are hand-picked moments in his career that fans can attempt to complete virtually. Put together, they will lead through the story showing Kobe Bryant's journey starting as a young ball player to becoming one of the greatest basketball superstars of all time.
