Tenya Ida's older brother, Tensei Ida, who he looked up to as an example of the kind of hero he wanted to become, was grievously wounded by the Hero Killer: Stain, and his lower body became paralyzed as a result. It was assumed his days as a Pro Hero were permanently over, but the epilogue revealed that Tensei never did retire after all. Although he now requires Items to aid him in fighting since his injuries are permanent, he still works as a Pro Hero and he and his younger brother, Tenya, became the hero duo they both always dreamed of becoming.
