Warning: Major spoilers about episode 9 of MobLand ahead
Paranoia, specifically about betrayal, invades every inch of the intriguing and grisly crime drama Harry Da Souza killed Freddie, the unwilling mole in Richie's organization, after he revealed that information. However, as the reveal happened off-screen, the audience was kept in the dark about the rat's identity.
Since then, theories have flown about which of the Harrigans is secretly working with Richie. There are arguments to be made for several characters, most of whom have plenty of reason to root for Conrad Harrigan's downfall or murder. Maeve's secretive communication with Richie about the location of Seraphina and Brendan in Antwerp certainly points the finger in her direction, but one key moment from episode 9 of MobLand suggests it was actually another, more unexpected character.

The Best MobLand Theory About Kevin's Other Brother Can Fix An Ongoing Villain Problem
MobLand season 1, episode 8 set up a big twist regarding Kevin Harrigan's secret brother, and one theory can make a villainous character much better.
MobLand Season 1, Episode 9 Suggests The Harrigans' Lawyer Is The Mole
O'Hara Delaney Has Been Aware Of The Harrigans' Every Move
Way back in episode 1 of MobLand, Conrad murdered his old friend Archie Hammond in full view of the key of his family, along with one other person: O'Hara Delaney, the family's lawyer. She has appeared periodically in the episodes since, and in her episode 8 appearance she called out the fact that there was a rat in the Harrigan crime organization to Conrad. However, it seems like that could have been a ploy to throw the scent off herself, as episode 9 set her up as the actual person providing intel to Richie Stevenson.
Lisa Dwan, who plays O'Hara Delaney, was a main cast member in MobLand creator Ronan Bennett's acclaimed and star-studded crime drama, Top Boy.
In episode 9, Jaime informs Harry that the deal between the Harrigans and the cartel is on, but only if Harry gets rid of the rat in their organization. He immediately hangs up with Jaime and calls O'Hara to confirm that the deal is on, but she expresses her concerns about getting involved with fentanyl at all, claiming that Archie was right, and they should have left it to Richie. Harry asks her to meet him the next morning to discuss details after a thoughtful pause and his typical "Hmm" non-response.
The implication is that he was merely confirming the information that Freddie gave him before Harry murdered him. With O'Hara bringing up the same apprehensions that saw Conrad and Maeve condemn Archie as a rat, O'Hara confirmed that it was actually her, as Freddie told Harry. Now that Harry is certain, he likely intends to kill her when they meet the next day. However, the visibly terrified O'Hara likely knows that's the case as well.
What O'Hara Being The Rat Would Mean For MobLand Season 1's Ending
She's Undoubtedly Dangerous Given All That She Knows
With all the information that O'Hara has on the Harrigans, she's infinitely more dangerous than any henchman or assassin. If she were to turn state's evidence and give the police everything she knows about, she'd have more than enough testimony to put Conrad, Maeve, Harry, and everyone else behind bars for decades, if not for life. That means Harry's new objective has to be to kill her, and kill her quickly. Otherwise, she could immediately go to the police, and speed up the timeline on Conrad and Maeve's convictions, and bring one about for Harry himself.

However, O'Hara certainly knows how dangerous she is to the Harrigans, and you don't get to be a trusted mob lawyer by being stupid. If she suspects Harry means to kill her, and her wide-eyed, terrified confirmation of their meeting in the morning says that she does, she could soon find herself on the run. Worse yet, she could find safe haven with Richie, who would keep her safer than any police station likely could and would immediately connect her with Tattersall. If O'Hara is confirmed as the rat, she immediately becomes one of the most important characters in MobLand's finale.
