Floyd is like any AI-controlled opponent you could face, set to Very Hard difficulty and equipped with no Kameo. You fight Floyd with whatever character you complete the final challenge with, so make sure you enter the battle with a goal that can be met by anyone. It'll be much easier to defeat Floyd with a combination of character and Kameo in Mortal Kombat 1 you're used to controlling.

The attack speed of Floyd is faster than most characters, mostly to make up for the secret ninja's lack of Kameo ally. However, Floyd tends to taunt during the match, giving you a chance to strike back with a full combo. Wait for opportunities to strike back against Floyd to tear through his health over multiple rounds and claim victory.

Losing to Floyd will give you two more chances to rematch him during his encounter. After you lose against Floyd three times, you will have to complete 10 challenges again to find the pink ninja another time.
