A genius one of the scariest mobs in Minecraft. Using its skulk sensor to navigate, the Warden patrols the Deep Dark biome and tracks down intruders. With some of the highest health of any mob and extremely high damage output, Minecraft players need to be smart with how they take the mob down.
One of the best ways to survive an encounter with the deadly mob is to sneak past its skulk sensor, being as quiet as possible as to avoid a head-on fight. Snowballs and eggs are a good way to keep the Warden distracted if it gets too close, and crouch-walking is essential in minimizing noise. That said, sometimes players have no choice but to fight the Warden. In that case, maintaining high ground and shooting it with a bow is the best way to bring down its health. Recently the Minecraft community discovered that the Warden can survive multiple End Crystal blasts. One blast from the explosive devise can take down just about any mob in the game, but a video surfaced of the terrifying beast withstanding nine End Crystals before dropping, proving it’s one of the hardest mobs to defeat.
Reddit 3rDuck concocted a master plan to easily kill the Warden in Minecraft, which uses a lot of fireworks and soul speed boots. 3rDuck demonstrated the creative kill in a boss room they built, in which they spawned the Warden on a large patch of soul soil under a low ceiling. As the terrifying Minecraft mob chased after 3rDuck – made more difficult with the soul speed enchantment on soul soil – the player utilized a stack and a half of fireworks to damage the Warden enough to kill it.
The Warden is known to be one of the most dangerous mobs in Minecraft. The Warden can survive one minute in lava, a feat even the highest-level Minecraft players struggle to achieve. That said, 3rDuck’s setup does provide an easy method of slaying the beast. One problem brought up in the Reddit thread, however, is that the player would not be able to set up the soul soil and low ceiling boss trap in the necessary place without spawning the Warden. 3rDuck did point out that while they didn’t try it, a speed potion might give a player sufficient speed to stay far enough away from the Warden to launch the stack and a half of fireworks.
It was also pointed out that 3rDuck’s boss trap could have been improved using soul sand. This would have slowed the Warden while simultaneously making the Minecraft player faster, as long as Minecraft’s soul speed enchantment was equipped. Ultimately, the most important part of the scheme is to be fast enough to evade the Warden combined with a low-enough roof for the fireworks to damage its head.
