It's not every day that a phenomenal fast food collaboration comes around, but that's exactly what happened with McDonald's new tie-in to Minecraft's Spring 2025 update solved many problems, making it tempting to jump back into the game, and with a promotion like this, Grand Theft Auto 6 has to take notes.

GTA 6 is still surrounded by mystery at the moment, but what we do know is that it takes place in the same HD Universe as GTA 4 and 5. This means that Cluckin' Bell, the most iconic fictional fast food establishment in gaming, is likely to return. Considering the outcome of the McDonald's Minecraft collaboration, a KFC Cluckin' Bell meal tie-in with exclusive in-game items would do wonders, both as a financial gambit and an entertaining inclusion for players.

The McDonald's Tie-In For Minecraft Was Done Spectacularly

Even A McDonald's Twitch Stream Occurred

In recent years, McDonald's has done some fantastic marketing campaigns, with the most notable being the viral Grimace's Birthday during the summer of 2023. The Minecraft collaboration was no exception. Unlike many other fast food tie-ins, which simply gave consumers toys, each of the six Minecraft collectibles provided an exclusive skin.

It was so fascinating and wacky that I had to install Minecraft and play it.

You can play as Grimace, Birdie, a zombie Hamburglar, or even a McDonald's drink. The skins from these tie-in meals offered a lot of fun, but McDonald's went even bigger. Out of nowhere, on April 6, McDonald's announced a Twitch livestream to occur later in the day. While you might not expect McDonald's to even have a Twitch channel, the one-hour stream was memorably bizarre, with Grimace, Birdie, and Hamburglar playing Minecraft.

After Minecraft’s Recent Update Improved Textures, I’m Begging For These Items To Be Next

Spawn eggs have gotten a fresh look in Minecraft, but are mostly only in Creative mode, whereas other more useful items have been neglected for years.

It was so fascinating and wacky that I had to install Minecraft and play it. I wanted to get all the achievements using the Minecraft Realm everyone uses to get them within a few hours. However, after learning how difficult it was to get in, I quickly reconsidered. Still, getting someone to try the game is the perfect outcome for any collaboration like this, and GTA 6 would do well to follow suit.

A KFC Cluckin' Bell Tie-In Meal For GTA 6 Would Be A Match Made In Heaven

Who Wouldn't Buy A Cluckin' Bell Meal?

Fast food collaborations can attract incredible attention, creating a large social media presence with meal reaction videos, and a GTA 6 KFC Cluckin' Bell tie-in would be no exception. The fictional fast food establishment, Cluckin' Bell, is iconic to the GTA franchise, appearing in San Andreas, GTA 4, and GTA 5. It's a parody of both KFC and Taco Bell, using chicken food items but using the iconic Bell logo synonymous with the American taco juggernaut.

Alright, It’s Finally Time For GTA 6 To Change Its Marketing

Fans are waiting for GTA 6 and there's a lot of hype around the game. Rockstar should start releasing more details sooner rather than later.

A KFC Cluckin' Bell meal would be wild, and it could be a must-buy for plenty of GTA fans. Done properly, a promotion couldn't just stop at the meal, as offering codes for exclusive cosmetics and items in either single-player or GTA Online would be awesome. Imagine getting a Cluckin' Bell worker suit, a parody of Colonel Sanders as a skin, and maybe even an exclusive Vice City Cluckin' Bell playable mission. All of this could only help build the Grand Theft Auto 6 hype, and considering the recent McDonald's tie-in with Minecraft, it's a no-brainer.
