The basic and ultimate versions of Minecraft Dungeons make their way to Steam on September 22, with the Ultimate Edition offering extra content. Minecraft Dungeons has had a busy past few months after the conclusion of its story with the July release of DLC pack Echoing Void – as well as celebrating its anniversary in May.

Sales of the Hero , Season , and Hero Edition for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch are set to discontinue on August 31. Minecraft Dungeons has enjoyed tremendous sales and a fairly positive reception among gamers for how it translates the original Minecraft's dungeon-delving experience into a more dedicated dungeon-crawler overloaded with personality. The story remains fairly nondescript, but the unlockable option to change the difficulty setting of dungeons, rewarding better equipment for tackling more lethal mobs, lends the game some replayability. Minecraft Dungeons even overtook Animal Crossing: New Horizons in sales only two weeks after release. As of now, Mojang's announcement has set up the definitive "ultimate" version of Minecraft Dungeons, in addition to extending the game's lifespan with a Steam release.
Minecraft Dungeons will arrive for Steam on September 22, 2021. It's currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
