As a teenage superhero, Miles Morales has always relied on friends and allies to get him through his life. Both in his time in the Ultimate Marvel Universe and later when he made the jump to the main Marvel timeline, Miles has always had a strong group, both with heroes his own age and mentor-styled characters who always ed him.

Miles has been part of a few teams, including the Ultimates, the Avengers, and the Champions. He has friends and family outside the superhero world who he relies on for help when the need arises. In the end, the young teenage superhero has allies who have his back no matter the danger or situation.

Ganke Lee

The first ally that Miles Morales had in comics was his best friend, Ganke Lee. He was the only person that Miles confided his secret identity to and he bears a striking similarity to Peter Parker's best friend in the MCU Ned Leeds, who is one of the most likable characters in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Ganke was Miles' closest friend who not only helped him conceal his identity from those around them but also someone who helped him get information on whatever villains he had to face at the time. Ganke moved over to the main Marvel timeline with Miles and remains one of his closest allies and best of friends.

Peter Parker

Miles Morales gained his powers while the Ultimate Universe's Spider-Man was still alive and active as a superhero. However, after Peter Parker died saving his loved ones from the Ultimate Green Goblin, Miles partially blamed himself and became the new Spider-Man to honor the memory of the deceased young hero.

The two met when the mainstream Spider-Man ended up in the Ultimate Universe for a short time in the limited series Spider-Men. He gave Miles his blessing and now that they are together on Earth-616, Peter has taken on a big brother role for Miles, helping him when he needs it and being there to give advice when the world gets too tough.

Jefferson Morales

Miles Morales talking to his dad Jefferson on a park bench.

In the beginning, Miles' father Jefferson Davis, who didn't know his son was Spider-Man, was not an ally. Jefferson, a police officer who hated the idea of masked vigilantes, was a minor antagonist to the young web-slinger. That changed when Miles crossed over to the mainstream universe.

In Earth-616, Miles' dad was a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who s his son in his superhero endeavors. Miles' dad also recently changed his name to Jefferson Morales to eliminate his controversial moniker and has even gone into battle to help Miles fight.

The Prowler

Prowler sacrifices himself to save Miles Morales.

In the Ultimate Universe, the Prowler was one of Miles Morales' most dangerous enemies. He was not only a supervillain who wanted to take over as the new crimelord, but he was Miles' uncle Aaron Davis. He knew Miles was Spider-Man and blackmailed him into helping him take out the former crimelord Scorpion.

In the mainstream Marvel Universe, Prowler was a long-time Spider-Man villain. Miles's heroics helped his uncle change his allegiances. Aaron not only became a Miles Morales ally, but he became one of his most trusted loved ones. Aaron helped Miles become a greater hero and even sacrificed his own life to save his nephew, although Miles has not accepted that The Prowler is really dead as his body was never found.

Ms. Marvel

Ms Marvel stops Miles Morales from making a mistake.

Ms. Marvel is another teenage superhero in the Marvel Universe, and like Miles Morales, she is a minority superhero, which gives the two young heroes a lot in common. Both struggle to maintain their secret identities and their lives as costumed vigilantes. As a result, they share a unique friendship that allows them to relate to one another and occasionally vent their frustrations over their hectic lives.

Ms. Marvel and Spider-Man both worked as Avengers before quitting the team when they realized they wanted to directly help people rather than fight intergalactic wars. As the first of the teen version of Champions, Miles Morales and Kamala Khan proved that they each other both on the battlefield and in their private lives.

Nova

Nova is the third teenage superhero who quit the Avengers and helped form the teenage Champions team. As one of Miles' male buddies, the two are able to share a lot in their lives outside of superhero work and remain close allies in their battles to protect the city. The two play video games together and stick together when it comes to fighting crime in the city.

This version of Nova is Sam Worthington, and like Miles, had to learn how to become a hero while trying to make it through puberty as well. While Miles and Kamala are closer, he shares a lot of traits with Nova and the two have relied on each other several times through the years. Most recently, the two went undercover to investigate the evil corporation Roxxon and had each other's back the entire time.

Spider-Gwen

As the two best characters in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales and an alternate timeline Gwen Stacy shared an intimate bond that hinted at a romantic relationship. In the comics, Gwen was one of Miles' earliest ers who consoled the teenager after Peter died in that reality.

In the mainstream universe, Miles encountered a very different Gwen Stacy in Spider-Gwen. The two developed a romantic relationship for a short time before choosing to remain friends and allies. In recent years, the two helped form a new team called the Order with other spider-related heroes, including Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Girl, and Madame Web.

Nick Fury (Ultimate Version)

Nick Fury talking to Miles Morales.

When Miles Morales first started his career as a superhero, he had no idea what he was doing and was just trying to emulate the old Spider-Man and help people. Sadly, he caught the attention of Spider-Man's friends, and the Ultimate Universe's Spider-Woman attacked him, taking him to the Ultimate Marvel's Nick Fury.

This resulted in Miles receiving his first mentor. The leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. tried to figure out what Miles was doing and after the boy saved everyone from Elektro after Hawkeye, Spider-Woman, and others couldn't, Nick gave him a chance. In addition, Fury gave Miles his iconic black costume, which helped establish his own identity that was distinct from Peter Parker's Spider-Man.

Captain America (Earth-616 & Ultimate Versions)

Miles Morales Spider-Man with Captain America.

Miles Morales has worked alongside two different Captain Americas in his career. In the Ultimate Universe, Spider-Man was working after Nick Fury gave him his blessing, but then Cap showed up and tried to shut Miles down. Captain America felt like he failed Peter Parker by refusing to train him and he didn't want another teenager to die on his watch.

Miles proved himself to Capt by beating R.H.I.N.O. and the legendary hero finally gave him his blessing and helped him get training. In the mainstream Marvel world, Miles met this world's Captain America and they were close from the start. The two worked together in The Avengers, and more recently Captain America even showed up to help Miles beat his greatest enemy — Ultimatum.

Shift

Miles Morales offers to help Shift.

The newest ally in the world of Miles Morales is a former enemy called Shift. In the storyline, Ultimatum created clones of Miles to torment the young hero, with one of them known as Selim. All the clones died except for Selim and two others — a shapeshifter called Shift and a psychic one called Mindspinner.

In the end, Shift betrayed his clone brothers to save Miles and his baby sister Billie, proving his worth as an ally by saving Miles over his fellow clones. In gratitude, Miles helped find a way to keep Shift alive so he wouldn't die like all the previous clones. The two appear to have a bright future ahead of them as Miles said he has a new brother to look after and that he wants to help the clone find his place in the new world.
