Mean Girls 2024 Ending Explained
The new Mean Girls film is both an adaptation of the 2004 classic movie and the 2017 stage production, providing a new, updated ending for viewers.
Nia Sioux's Mean Girls Cameo Comes During "Sexy"
Sioux plays one of the TikTok s dancing in their Halloween costume
In her first cameo, Sioux appears at the 36:58 mark in Mean Girls 2024 during the song "Sexy," performed by Avantika's Karen. At the beginning of the musical number, Karen sings about the duality of Halloween costumes while recording a video for TikTok. After her comical "Sexy" intro ends, videos of other TikTok s also recording themselves dancing and getting ready for the Halloween party surround Karen's video in the center frame and multiply as the song continues.
Starring as one of these dancing TikTok s, Sioux appears in the second row to the right of Karen onscreen with the name "melissaottd." Her character is wearing a red hoodie at the beginning of the video before changing into what appears to be an '80s Workout Barbie costume, consisting of a pink bodysuit, blue tights, and blue headband. Sioux's cameo lasts until the 37:13 mark in Mean Girls 2024, right before Karen arrives at the Halloween party. In the video below, Sioux appears at the 1:22 time mark.
