On September 10th, Marvel Studios revealed what fans already suspected: Yelena Belova will return to the Hawkeye, people are still excited to know they will continue seeing this character in the MCU.
Yelena and Kate have one of the best dynamics in the MCU, even though it got off to a rocky start. However, soon enough Kate can see that Yelena isn't a villain and warms up to the Black Widow. Their incredible chemistry has given the fans lots to talk about.
That Time Kate Slapped Yelena
When Yelena infiltrates Eleanor Bishop's party trying to find Clint to kill him, Kate follows her inside the elevator of the Rockefeller Center. Kate doesn't know what to do, knowing Yelena to be a stronger fighter than she is, but amidst the chaos that reigns in the elevator, Kate ends up slapping Yelena.
However, it's obvious Kate didn't plan to slap the Black Widow, taking into the shock in her eyes. Yelena looks annoyed, but she doesn't try to hurt Kate. The dynamic of these two women is hilarious and is one of the best ones in the MCU. On top of that Hailee Steinfield and Florence Pugh's chemistry is over the roof.
The Surprising Appearance of Yelena In The Show

When Hawkeye started streaming on Disney+, there were already suspicions about Yelena appearing in this show. At the end of Black Widow, she's told by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine that Clint was responsible for her sister's death and gave her the assignment of killing him.
However, there were no confirmations whatsoever, and fans were anxiously waiting for Yelena's appearance. Finally, when Kate and Clint are fighting a Black Widow and Echo on top of a building, Clint removes the Black Widow's mask, revealing Yelena's face. This is one of the best moments of the show, and Yelena became one of the best-ing characters in the MCU.
When Kate Couldn't Change Yelena's Mind On Killing Clint
When Kate realizes a Black Widow is trying to murder her idol and mentor Clint Barton, she does everything she can to try to stop her. However, Yelena is stronger than Kate, and even though she entertains her for a while, eventually she escapes her and confronts Clint.
Fortunately, in the middle of Clint and Yelena's fight, Clint manages to explain to Yelena the circumstances of Natasha's death. Even though Yelena is portrayed as one of the villains of the series, it's obvious she had a hard time processing her sister's death after blipping for five years. However, eventually, she comes to her senses and lets Clint go, one of Yelena's best decisions in the MCU.
They Deserve Their Own TV show
Even though everyone expected Yelena to appear in Hawkeye, fans were surprised by the incredible dynamic between her and Kate. Although they were supposed to be on different sides of the fight, it's obvious they immediately took a liking for each other and the two women eventually found a common ground.
There's no doubt Kate is one of the best characters introduced in an MCU series. Still, after Disney's most recent announcements, fans were disappointed to learn that Yelena and Kate won't be sharing any projects shortly. However, there's always hope that these characters will find each other again.
When Yelena Didn't Know If She Should Kill Kate
When Kate confronts Yelena in the elevator of the Rockefeller Center, Yelena tries to ignore her, focused on getting to Clint Barton. However, Kate proves this task to be difficult since she doesn't stop annoying the Black Widow, who seems to start considering hurting Kate.
Yelena's soft spot for Kate is one of the fandom's favorite things about this show. From the beginning, it's evident that Yelena doesn't plan to kill Kate, and it's only trying to get her out of her way. This proves that the Black Widow is not a villain, but a grieving person trying to avenge her sister's death.
When Kate Didn't Get The Hint
When Yelena notices Kate following her in the Rockefeller Center, she tries to stop her from getting in the elevator, but the stubborn superhero is unable to take no as an answer and manages to get in the elevator with Yelena. Later on, she even pushes all the buttons, so the elevator will take longer arriving to Yelena's floor.
Kate's ridiculous and stubborn attitude contrasting with the Black Widow's lethal but patient demeanor makes Kate and Yelena's relationship one of the most hilarious and interesting ones in the MCU. There's no doubt this duo can provide a lot more to the MCU, and, hopefully, fans will see more of this dynamic in following productions.
Kate Didn't Like Yelena's Mac & Cheese

After Kate fought Yelena and Echo alongside Clint, she returns to her apartment to find Yelena standing in her kitchen cooking. Kate is understandably shocked and afraid since the Black Widow could kill her in seconds. However, soon enough it's obvious Yelena doesn't plan to kill her, and she only wants Kate to tell her where Clint is.
Hawkeye is an all-around show with an interesting plot, well-developed characters, and very funny moments. Still, one of the best and most hilarious scenes in the series is Yelena offering mac & cheese to a completely dumbfounded Kate, while complaining about Kate's lack of cutlery.
Clint Is Tired Of Both Of Them

At the beginning of the show, Clint is having a relaxing time in New York before spending Christmas with his family. However, soon enough he's involved in Kate's and Yelena's troubles. He needs to save the first one when she's being targeted by the Tracksuit Mafia when she wears Ronin's outfit, and on top of that, Yelena is well... trying to kill him.
Even though he insists that Kate stop trying to help him, the woman couldn't be more excited to fight alongside her favorite superhero. However, most of the time she creates more trouble for him. Still, the relationship between these characters is extremely wholesome and, in the end, Clint even invites Kate to spend the Holidays with his family.
Yelena's Love For Sriracha

When Yelena breaks into Kate's apartment, she makes herself comfortable. She gets hungry while waiting for the superhero, so she decides to cook some mac & cheese. She offers some to Kate, who declines, after which Yelena adds insane amounts of Sriracha to the pasta.
Even though Sriracha is an extremely tasty sauce, it's also incredibly spicy. Surely, after the training to endure extreme amounts of pain Yelena has gone through, spices are a walk in the park for her, but it's still quite impressive.
It Took A While For Kate To Warm Up To Yelena

Facing a lethal person in their apartments it's probably one of the most difficult things that can happen to a person. When Kate finds Yelena casually standing in her house, at first, she's understandably shocked. However, Yelena keeps a calm and placid attitude, like they're old acquaintances, which further confuses Kate.
