MCU Phase 4 has seen a rise in the children of superheroes being introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, setting up a bright future for the franchise. The younger heroes have started to become more prominent in the years since Young Avengers team-up movie before the end of the Multiverse Saga, though there's been no word from Marvel Studios about whether this is the case.
The Infinity Saga introduced viewers to the children of Clint Barton, a.k.a. Hawkeye, Scott Lang, a.k.a. Ant-Man, and Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man, but several more children of Marvel superheroes have debuted during the MCU's Phase 4. MCU projects such as future projects for Marvel Studios.
Iron Man - Morgan Stark
Tony Stark and Pepper Potts' daughter, Morgan Stark, was introduced during Avengers: Endgame. After Thanos snapped his fingers and wiped out half of all life in the universe, Tony was brought back to Earth by Captain Marvel, reuniting with Pepper and moving into the Stark Eco-Compound cabin in New York where the pair married and had a daughter. A conversation between Tony and Pepper at the start of Avengers: Infinity War revealed that Morgan was named after Pepper's eccentric uncle, though in the dream that Tony described, the pair had a son instead of a daughter.
After her father sacrificed himself to eliminate the Thanos threat in 2023, Morgan watched his final speech where he familiarized MCU viewers with the heart-breaking "I love you 3000," a line that she'd expressed earlier on. One deleted scene from the Infinity Saga's climactic film would have shown Tony meeting a grown-up Morgan Stark in the Soul Realm, just as Thanos had seen the young Gamora after he had snapped his fingers. Despite this scene being removed from the final film, it can be assumed that Morgan Stark will show up again in the MCU, perhaps even donning the Rescue suit as teased in Avengers: Endgame.
Hawkeye - Cooper, Lila, & Nathaniel Barton
Clint Barton's children were introduced during Avengers: Age of Ultron as an answer to many feeling as though the character of Hawkeye had been practically irrelevant during The Avengers. At that time, Clint's wife, Laura, was still pregnant with their youngest child, Nathaniel, named after close family friend Natasha Romanoff. After being absent during Avengers: Infinity War, the prologue to Avengers: Endgame caught up with Hawkeye and the Bartons, detailing how Clint lost his entire family to Thanos, leading to him becoming Ronin. This prologue also teased a potential future as a Hawkeye-like hero for Lila, who was shown to have fantastic aim with a bow and arrow before disappearing.
With Kate Bishop taking over the Hawkeye mantle during Secret Invasion series, which will see Nick Fury return to battle Skrulls. It's unclear when, and if, Clint's children will appear again in the MCU, or even if the original Avenger himself will return now that Kate Bishop has taken over the role.
Ant-Man - Cassie Lang
The motivation behind Scott Lang's career as Ant-Man is to be a better person and make the world a safer place for his daughter, Cassie, first introduced during the Quantum Realm, returning after five years to find his teenage daughter alive and well.
During some touching moments in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Scarlet Witch & Vision - Billy & Tommy
WandaVision's Billy and Tommy debuted during Marvel Studios' first Phase 4 project, which saw Wanda create her own reality within the walls of Westview, New Jersey. After Wanda apparently resurrected Vision after his death in Avengers: Infinity War, the pair find themselves living the suburban lifestyle, leading to Wanda giving birth to twins within a matter of hours. Aging quickly, the young Billy and Tommy soon began to demonstrate remarkable abilities just like their mother and uncle Pietro, with Billy inheriting Wanda's psychic powers and magical abilities and Tommy being gifted their uncle's super-speed.
Despite the twins disappearing during the WandaVision finale, alternate versions of them appeared on Earth-838 in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as the children of the Wanda into whom the Scarlet Witch dreamwalks. This suggests that Billy and Tommy could show up again in the MCU proper, with rumors circulating that they could make an appearance in the WandaVision spinoff, Agatha: Coven of Chaos. Even though Wanda seemed to sacrifice herself at the end of Multiverse of Madness, it's possible she'll return to complete her redemption arc in the MCU, and there's no doubt her children will follow suit since they are prominent of the Young Avengers.
Thor - Love
Thor: Love & Thunder was one of the most divisive projects of the MCU's Phase 4, but it did introduce audiences to Gorr the God Butcher and his daughter, Love. The opening moments of the fourth altar of Eternity in Love & Thunder to wish the gods dead. However, when he eventually reaches the altar, Thor convinces Gorr to wish for something more profound, allowing him to bring his daughter back from the dead, sacrificing his own life in the process and leaving Love in the care of Thor.
After being resurrected by Eternity and adopted by Thor, Love and her new father fought together to protect alien species, with Thor once again wielding Mjolnir and Love wielding Stormbreaker. It can be assumed that Love has some special abilities that audiences haven't seen yet, thanks to her revival at the hands of Eternity, and she certainly has enough power to use Stormbreaker. It was revealed at the end of Love & Thunder that Thor will return to the MCU, and this will most likely be with Love at his side, probably in the Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.
Hulk - Skaar
The future looks bright for Hulks in the MCU, with Bruce Banner, Abomination, and Jennifer Walters, a.k.a. She-Hulk all having a part to play in World War Hulk project.
Skaar's comic backstory is rich and tragic, and will certainly create some significant plot lines for Bruce Banner in the live-action MCU. Though no more information has been confirmed about the character or when he will appear next, it's likely that Skaar will be part of the roster if a Young Avengers project is on the cards for Marvel Studios. There have also been rumors of a second season for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which could see Skaar's story develop through the eyes of Jen Walters, which would be a great way to bring the character into the wider world of the MCU.
Black Panther - Prince T'Challa
The final film of the MCU's Phase 4 paid a beautiful tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, who portrayed T'Challa, the Black Panther, in various MCU projects prior to his death. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever revisited the nation of Wakanda in the months and years after the Blip, and followed the royal family's grief over the sudden death of T'Challa from an undisclosed illness. Later, Shuri is able to create a synthetic heart-shaped herb and assume the mantle of Black Panther from her brother, but this isn't the only name ed down during the film.
During Wakanda Forever, it's revealed that Nakia left Wakanda after Thanos' snap, finding it too hard to stay after the apparent death of her loved ones. However, in the film's mid-credits scene, it's revealed that Nakia had been pregnant with T'Challa's child before his death, finally bringing out Toussaint, whose Wakandan name is Prince T'Challa, to meet his aunt Shuri. Prince T'Challa is the perfect way to carry on Chadwick Boseman's legacy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, since it can be assumed that, one day, the child will return to Wakanda and take up the mantle of Black Panther and follow in the footsteps of his father.
