Insomniac Games has amassed an impressive cast for its superhero sequel, Spider-Man franchise.
Insomniac Games has successfully managed the challenging feat of balancing a large and varied cast as players assume control of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales throughout the game. Previous titles were praised for the great, emotional performances of the cast and the new game is no different. Marvel's Spider-Man 2's story navigates the personal struggles of both its heroes and those around them to make for an incredibly rich superhero tale.
25 Spider-Man/Peter Parker - Yuri Lowenthal
Marvel's Spider-Man games, alongside other titles such as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order and Marvel's Midnight Suns. The actor is widely regarded as one of the best portrayers of the character.
In Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Peter dons the Venom symbiote, which serves as an allegory for addiction and shows Peter going into darker territory than before. As a result, Lowenthal delivers a deeper, sharper, and more aggressive tone as a symbiote-corrupted Peter. His character brutally defeats his foes and clashes with his loved ones in some incredibly tense, emotional scenes.
24 Spider-Man/Miles Morales - Nadji Jeter
Nadji Jeter returns once again as the younger Spider-Man, Miles Morales. Jeter appeared as the character in a ing role in Marvel's Spider-Man before getting his own title, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. He has also voiced Miles in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order and the 2017 Spider-Man animated series.
Miles was mentored by Peter before coming into his own as a superhero in his own title. However, now the duo works more as equals - even if Miles does still seek some guidance from Peter at times. Between his mentor becoming corrupted by the symbiote and his father's killer Mr. Negative being on the loose, Miles is tested in many ways throughout Marvel's Spider-Man 2's campaign.
23 Mary Jane Watson - Laura Bailey
Mary Jane Watson will be playing a key part in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and The Last of Us Part 2 and Critical Role's Laura Bailey will be returning to voice her. MJ faces plenty of obstacles throughout the game's campaign, with J. Jonah Jameson returning to run the Daily Bugle after the two publicly clashed during the promotion of MJ's book. While her relationship with Peter is certainly stronger than it was in Marvel's Spider-Man, she also seems hesitant to fully commit to moving in with him after he inherited Aunt May's home in Queens. This relationship becomes even more strained with the introduction of the symbiote.
MJ will be assisting the Spider-Men throughout Marvel's Spider-Man 2, investigating the various threats to New York. Once again, players will also assume control of the character in a series of levels, much as they did in the first game. However, this time around, MJ seems far more adept in the field, with much of her gameplay adopting stealth mechanics seen in other titles, which is an evolution of her final mission in Marvel's Spider-Man.
22 Harry Osborn - Graham Phillips
After Insomniac chose to use full performance capture to bring the character to life in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Riverdale and The Good Wife's Graham Phillips has taken over the role of Harry Osborn from God of War Ragnarök actor Scott Porter. Porter provided the voice for the character in Marvel's Spider-Man. However, due to Harry being in a medically-induced coma as part of his treatment for a terminal illness throughout that game, performance capture wasn't needed.
After returning from his experimental treatment with the Venom symbiote, Harry is on a mission to "heal the world" after feeling he has been given a "second chance." Unfortunately, the symbiote bonds with Peter and corrupts him. Peter and Harry's friendship is tested, leading to his transformation into Venom.
21 Kraven/Sergei Kravinoff - Jim Pirri
Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War Ragnarök actor Jim Pirri voices Kraven the Hunter in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Kraven brings his "Great Hunt" to New York, with his search for "worthy prey" leading him to combat various superpowered and highly skilled heroes. As a result, Kraven and his hunters ruthlessly spread chaos across the city in pursuit of many classic Spider-Man characters, such as Lizard.

"Something Never Experienced Before": Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Review
Spider-Man 2 brings Peter Parker and Miles Morales together for what is one of the best PS5 exclusives yet – a triumph of gameplay and storytelling.
20 Venom - Tony Todd
Although Venom's alter ego is Harry Osborn, Candyman actor and horror legend Tony Todd voices his superpowered, monstrous form in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Todd has been vocal about how much he enjoys playing the character in several interviews. The vengeful symbiote taking advantage of the strain put on Peter and Harry's friendship throughout the game's story makes for a truly destructive force.
19 Ganke Lee - Griffin Puatu
Griffin Puatu will be returning to voice Miles Morales' best friend and confidant in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Ganke Lee. Ganke played a major part in Miles' development throughout Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Ganke helped the hero with his new, unique suit and developed the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man app to provide Miles with a direct means of communication with the citizens he was trying to protect. In Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Ganke is far more involved with Miles' heroics, hacking into one of Kraven's Vulture drones to offer air in one of the game's missions.
18 Rio Morales - Jacqueline Pinol
After being elected to New York's City Council at the end of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Rio Morales has a greater presence in New York than before. Bosch's Jacqueline Pinol reprises her role as Rio. On top of looking after her city in her official capacity, she provides advice and guidance for Miles after discovering his superhero identity during the prior game's final act.
17 Norman Osborn - Mark Rolston
Batman: Arkham and Aliens actor Mark Rolston will be reprising his role as Oscorp CEO and disgraced former mayor Norman Osborn in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Many of Norman Osborn's actions form the catalyst for Marvel's Spider-Man 2's story with his experiments to save his son Harry the main reason the Venom symbiote is unleashed. Following the conclusion of the game's main campaign, he seems primed to play a far larger, more villainous role in the seemingly inevitable Marvel's Spider-Man 3.
16 Dr. Curt Connors - Mark Whitten
Deathloop and Exoprimal's Mark Whitten will portray Dr. Curt Connors in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Connors has been working with Norman Osborn on the treatment for Harry, being one of the scientists who have acquired and studied the symbiote. Unfortunately, Connors' reptilian alter-ego, The Lizard, is evolving into a far more animalistic beast, much as he does in the Amazing Spider-Man comics' Shed arc. Therefore, Lizard's presence as one of the targets of Kraven's hunt makes for a further challenge as Peter and Miles must try to save Connors from the hunters while simultaneously protecting the city from him.
