Black Cat’s typical status as an anti-hero in the mainstream Marvel Universe gives her and Spider-Man common ground, with Peter often able to appeal to Felicia’s better nature. But since Felicia is a member of the Sinister Six, it’s possible that such tactics may not work, forcing the two into a more outwardly adversarial dynamic. Additionally, Peter’s continued friendship with Harry, the man responsible for putting Walter in a wheelchair, will complicate any potential alliance between Peter and Felicia.

Black Cat is a Spider-Man spinoff movie from Sony Pictures. Originally the movie was set to feature Black Cat and Silver Sable, but that plan was scrapped in favor of two separate solo movies. While there have been MCU crossovers with Sony's characters, such as Venom and Morbius, Black Cat will be set in Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters outside of the MCU.
