The recently released strategic card game best cards in Marvel Snap include heroes like Iron Man and Mr. Fantastic, but one unusual card is likely to bring tears to Spider-Man's eyes.

As pointed out by Twitter UltimaShadowX (via GameRant), Marvel Snap contains a collectible card that kills Uncle Ben when used. The hilariously unsettling card adds Spider-Man to the player's hand when it is destroyed, referencing the death of Uncle Ben and its essential role in kickstarting Spider-Man's superhero career. While the card is a clever way to translate the wall-crawling hero's origin story into actual gameplay, the idea of players intentionally killing the kindly Uncle Ben to gain a competitive advantage is undeniably disturbing.

In addition to the deceased Ben Parker, the online card game Marvel Snap currently boasts a staggering lineup of over 200 cards for players to collect and upgrade. These include both iconic Marvel figures and more obscure names, ranging from Captain America and Black Panther to Arnim Zola and Ebony Maw. Marvel Snap also features various iconic Marvel locations, like Wakanda and Asgard, which have various effects on any given match. Players can improve their Collection Level by playing Marvel Snap or upgrading their cards, and an upgraded Collection Level rewards a random assortment of new cards to simulate opening a physical card pack.

While the online card game has been praised for its fast-paced gameplay and beautiful art style, during the title's pre-launch beta Marvel Snap microtransactions and loot boxes received some criticism. The collectible card game features certain exclusive cards that can only be unlocked during limited-time events, with players forced to spend real-world money for a random chance to obtain them. This gambling system can lead to players spending upwards of $100 in an attempt to obtain a single card, though thankfully many of Marvel's Snap's cards can simply be obtained through gameplay.

Marvel Snap honors the Marvel universe with more than 200 different collectible cards, but Uncle Ben is arguably disrespected with his bizarre death card. While the loving uncle famously plays a key role in Spider-Man's origin, it feels wrong to make players kill off Uncle Ben as a strategic decision. With great power there must also come great responsibility, and Marvel Snap has used Uncle Ben a bit irresponsibly.
