Iron Fist is a Duelist character in Marvel Rivals whose abilities reflect his mastery of martial arts, using skills to strike down whatever foe stands in his way. As a close-range melee fighter, Iron Fist always wants to get close to enemies he can eliminate quickly. With a flurry of blows, Lin Lie can prove himself as the Immortal Iron Fist as he disrupts the synergy of rival teams.
Along with some of the best characters to play in Marvel Rivals, Iron Fist is a Duelist, one of the three classes you can pick from. Duelists specialize in dealing damage and scoring eliminations on high-priority targets. This archetype also has pretty low health, making them more fragile than the tank-like Vanguards but slightly more sturdy than ive Strategists.

Other Games Should Learn From Marvel Rivals' New Battle
Marvel Rivals is already making waves in the hero shooter scene, with this minor change giving the game a huge advantage over the competition.
The ives Wall Runner and Crane Leap give Iron Fist more mobility than some Duelists, except others like Iron Man in Marvel Rivals. Iron Fist is capable of chasing down nearly any opponent, using both Primary Attacks to quickly tear through health. With Harmony Recovery, Iron Fist even gets a way to heal himself, making him a character who doesn't always have to rely on someone else to heal him.
How To Use Iron Fist's Ultimate
Empower Every Skill At Once
The Living Chi Ultimate empowers all of Iron Fist's greatest traits at once, giving you more chances to make an impact on an enemy team. This Ultimate is best used when your team is trying to push an objective, especially if a bulwark of an opposing group's defense is defeated. For example, if the enemy team loses their only healer, activating this Ultimate will give you a damage boost capable of shredding health bars to bits without enemies being able to recover.
Iron Fist's Ultimate reduces the cooldown of Dragon's Defense, giving you more chances to reflect damage. This does not change the properties of this move, but it does give you more protection against enemy attacks.
The speed bonus granted from Iron Fist's Ultimate should be used to close the distance on fleeing enemies. Characters with mobility options, like Moon Knight and Captain America in Marvel Rivals, can sometimes flee Iron Fist long enough to return to escape you. Using Living Chi can help you deliver relentless offense to these characters, who will suddenly be unable to retreat from your strikes.
You can already dash forward with punches as Iron Fist, but his Ultimate increases that range to an absurd degree. When used in tandem with your triple jump and wall run, no character is safe while your Ultimate is being used.
Best Team Composition For Iron Fist
Utilize Team-Up Abilities And Other Mobile Characters
Iron Fist only has one Team-Up ability in Marvel Rivals, giving another character a new ive effect to one of their skills. As a result, the best team composition for Iron Fist should consist of characters who can his overall strategy. Iron Fist's fragile health can be supplemented with the character's own defensive abilities, but it's good to have another character who can help create Lin Lie's preferred situations.

Marvel Rivals Developers Announce 10 Million Players Worldwide In Just 72 Hours
Only three days after its launch, Marvel Rivals has reached a global player count of over 10 million, making it extremely popular for a new release.
Some of the best characters to pair with Iron Fist are:
- Luna Snow
- Captain America
- Hawkeye
- Thor
- Winter Soldier
Luna Snow is the one character with a Team-Up ability created when Iron Fist is also on a team. Luna gains a new ive skill called Dragon's Chill when this happens, as Iron Fist channels the Chi of Shou-Lao into the Strategist character. As long as the two remain together, Luna Snow can activate a frosty ring from herself, launching enemies near it and healing allies who stand within the same AoE.
Luna Snow's new ability through her Team-Up with Iron Fist also deals damage to enemies while applying a slow-down effect that reduces their movement speed for a short time.
Other melee-focused characters like Thor and Captain America pair well with Iron Fist since they also want to get close to enemies. With the right offensive plan, an Iron Fist and either of these Vanguards can charge into enemy formations, breaking them up and scoring a few key eliminations. Winter Soldier and Hawkeye, two great damage dealers from mid and long-range, can this process by picking off enemies weakened by Iron Fist.
Best Tips, Tricks & Strategies For Winning
Go After Characters With Lower Health
One of the best strategies to adopt as Iron Fist is to try to dive into the backline of an enemy team to take out their most valuable characters. In many instances, this usually means going after the Strategists, whose healing abilities keep most teams alive during intense fights. Iron Fist's sheer damage output makes them devastating to these characters, taking them out in seconds if they're caught unaware.
Iron Fist thrives on the frontlines, tearing through enemy health when all his abilities are chained together. The combos you can string with Jeet Kune Do into Yat Jee Chunk Kuen gives you ways to kill enemies fast, gaining Bonus Health fast from Iron Fist's Chi Absorption ive. Even high-health characters like Hulk in Marvel Rivals have little chance against you if you unleash all your moves on them uncontested.
Guerilla tactics are one of the best ways to use Iron Fist by diving in, eliminating a character, and then dashing back to your team. The wall run and triple jump of Iron Fist make him much more mobile to implement this strategy.
The risks with Iron Fist come from his lack of health. Enemies can target you fast, forcing you to flee and use Harmony Recovery often. However, this healing ability doesn't last long, so you have to get used to activating Dragon's Defense in the right situations to avoid taking damage and reducing any punishment that comes your way.
Don't forget about how Iron Fist's basic attacks launch him forward toward enemies, closing the distance on even foes who seem far away. This can apply to situations where you have to attack a character in the air, such as Iron Man or Storm.
You need to be aware of ability cooldowns as Iron Fist, as many of his skills have long recovery times. Without mobility options or Dragon's Defense, you stand little chance of winning some fights, especially if you are fighting more than one enemy. When you combine all of Iron Fist's abilities and Ultimate in Marvel Rivals, enemy characters will fall quickly as you confidently thin the numbers of rival teams.
