Here is every hero from the Avengers: Endgame that served as the big finale when it saw almost every Marvel hero assemble to stop Thanos.

In the lead up to the end of Phase 3, Marvel Studios revealed a Time Stone debuted in Doctor Strange in 2016, and the Soul Stone debuted in Infinity War in 2018.

The introduction of each Infinity Stone came in different ways though, as some were located across the galaxy, some were forged into weapons, and others were secretly hidden. However, some of these Infinity Stones directly played a role in the MCU's strongest heroes getting their powers. Whether these abilities came inadvertently or as part of experimentation, here are the MCU heroes who received powers from the Infinity Stones.

Captain Marvel

Brie Larson as Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) is one of the newest characters to the MCU, but chronologically she is the first person to gain powers from an Infinity Stone. Back when she was a pilot for the Air Force, she flew a dangerous mission for Wendy Lawson aka Mar-Vell in 1989 to take her to her secret base in space. However, the Kree disrupted this journey and shot Carol and Wendy out of the sky. Shortly after Carol woke up from the crash, she destroyed the Light-Speed Engine that the Kree were after. The destruction of the engine released a blast of Tesseract/Space Stone energy that Carol's body absorbed.

From this point on, Carol had incredible powers that the Kree attempted to harness for their gain. The Kree erased Carol's memories and weakened her powers so they could control her, but she eventually discovered the true level of her powers. She is able to shoot photon blasts out of her hands and fly, and also has increased strength and durability. Kevin Feige has called her Captain Marvel 2, the extent of her powers could continue to grow moving forward.

Scarlet Witch

Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) received her powers courtesy of the Mind Stone. Several years ago, Wanda volunteered to be involved in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and she has continued to master them as time has gone on.

In of the specific abilities that the Mind Stone helped give Scarlet Witch, the range of her powers has continued to evolve with each movie appearance. At first, Wanda's powers were primarily forms of telekinesis and mental manipulation, as she used the latter to provide new wrinkles to what she is capable of.

Quicksilver

Quicksilver in Avengers Age of Ultron

Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) received his powers in the exact same way as his sister. He volunteered to be part of Strucker's experiments involving the Mind Stone too and was shown still trying to control his powers in Captain America: The Winter Soldier's post-credits scene. So far, the only chance for Quicksilver to use his powers came in Avengers: Age of Ultron, since he died saving Hawkeye in the Battle of Sokovia.

As his superhero nickname would suggest, Quicksilver received super-speed powers from the Mind Stone. His ability to run at high speeds had other advantages too. Not only could he run from one place to another quickly, but he could use his speed to make his punches more powerful. Pietro could also perceive the world moving slower than it actually was, allowing him to catch bullets or arrows before they hit him in most cases.

Vision

Vision (Paul Bettany) received much more than just powers from an Infinity Stone, as it was the Mind Stone itself that gave him life. He was created with a mixture of Jarvis, Ultron, Vibranium, and the Mind Stone in Avengers: Age of Ultron, with the Infinity Stone placed in his forehead. Thanks to the yellow gem in his cranium, Vision became one of the most powerful heroes in the MCU, but it also made him a target of Thanos. Although it was discussed that Vision could exist without the Mind Stone, he was killed when the Mad Titan ripped it out of his skull in Avengers: Infinity War.

When Vision still had the Mind Stone, he possessed a wide range of abilities. Thanks to the Mind Stone specifically, he could shoot extremely powerful beams of energy. Vision also has super strength and can fly, and is able to change aspects of his physical body. The android can alter his appearance at a moment's notice, whether that is to copy Thor's look when he was first created, or take on a human form to better blend in. Vision can also change the density of his body, making him intangible or nearly indestructible.

Since the Infinity Stones were destroyed by Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, it appears Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Vision might be the last heroes to get powers from them. But the MCU is not a linear story, and there is always the chance that other movies will explain how Eternals. Based on how powerful each of the heroes is who have ties to the Infinity Stones, any other people with connections to them could be formidable heroes in the future.
