A recent leak claims that a new a huge financial success.
This anthology is hardly the only way Nintendo is celebrating the anniversary of their beloved mascot, though. Numerous other products have been announced and released, including some more bizarre items like a Mario themed Game & Watch machine and a toy set that lets fans craft a remote-controlled Bowser's Fury, which is likely a new level expansion or something similar.
But that might not be everything Mario fans can look forward to in the near future. real-life tennis stars like the Williams Sisters in an attempt to make up for the physical sports games cancelled by the COVID-19 pandemic. Zippy was not told what sport will be covered in this title, but they expect golf.
A new Mario Golf title would make as much sense as any other sports title from the developer. Camelot made its debut in the world of sports-based Mario spinoffs with the original Mario Golf in 1999. That being said, Mario and his friends have had a rich, plentiful history of sporting endeavors over the years. This new title could portray any number of them. There have certainly been fans who are eager to see a remaster of all of the sports games, similar to Super Mario 3D All-Stars. It's not impossible that this leaked sports title could be such a collection.
As always, leaks should be taken with extreme care. There's no real evidence that Camelot is indeed working on a new Mario sports game, and there might not be for some time. Still, it's an exciting prospect. The beloved plumber may not be as famous for his golf stroke or his tennis arm as he is for his platforming, go-kart racing, and occasional medical work, but there are still plenty of fans who've had a lot of fun hitting the courts with Mario. Hopefully Camelot doesn't disappoint.
