Love Island couples are still together in 2023, but hope remains.
Since the show's third season in 2017, a lot has changed for the couples who left hand in hand. However, most find love outside the show, and others have proven that not all reality show couples are doomed for tabloid fodder break-ups. Sadly for fans, most of their favorite couples are no more but have found their happily-ever-afters. Even recent Love Island UK season 9 couples have dissipated. However, for fans of Love Island UK season 3, most couples broke up, while one couple got a happy ending.
Kem Cetinay & Amber Davies - Broken Up
Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies left the villa as a winning couple in Love Island season 3, but now they are on different paths after only six months together (per The Mirror UK). Even though Kem joked about a reunion between the two, this was all in jest. According to her Instagram, Amber is single and working on the West End in Back To The Future: The Musical. Kem is also single and working on expanding his brand, Kem Cuts. Even though they are both single, a reunion is unlikely since The Mirror UK noted that the pair stopped talking in 2019.
Camilla Thurlow & Jamie Jewitt - Married
Even though they finished second in their season, Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt have finished first in love, as they are married. The couple has been married for nearly two years, and they have two kids together. Jamie loves being a dad and spending time with his kids, and he also shares what they do together on his Instagram page. As it stands, the couple is the only pair to survive after leaving the villa.
Olivia Attwood & Chris Hughes - Broken Up
Olivia Attwood and Chris Hughes had a strained relationship in the villa that carried on after the finale, with the pair ending their relationship after only six months of dating. According to the Daily Mail UK, Olivia found love with an old flame that plotted to win her heart back after seeing her on the show and was successful. Olivia and Bradley Deck married in June 2023. Chris is single and working for BBC Sports. He is also working on his business ventures outside of being a television personality.
Gabby & Marcel Somerville - Broken Up
Gabby and Marcel Somerville gave fans hope that they would last once they coupled up since they were one of few couples that didn't get into fights while in the villa, but after a year of dating, the pair split. Bustle reported that they parted ways due to Marcel's infidelity, which deeply affected Gabby as she could no longer trust people.
Marcel found his happily ever after and was married in August 2022. The couple welcomed a son during their engagement. Gabby has also found love as she posted on her Instagram that she is in a relationship with reality television star Brandon Myers who she has been with for over a year. She's also become a fitness model and is often seen flashing her abs and sharing workouts with fans.
Montana Brown & Alex Beattie - Broken Up
Montana Brown and Alex Beattie almost made it to the finale but were dumped before making it to the finale. While they left the villa in love, the pair broke up soon after. As reported by The Sun UK, Montana had different feelings after the breakup, and Alex told her to stop giving him hope of reconciliation if it would never happen. Alex also noted he was done with Montana and was ready to find love with someone else. Montana has moved on with Mark Connor and often posts pictures with him. Alex has found love with Caroline O'Mahony, a fitness model and coach. Both seem happier without each other.
Georgia Steel and Sam Bird - Broken Up
Georgia Steel and Sam Bird made a cute couple on Love Island, but like so many other couples to come from the show, the pair split not long after the show ended and became messy. Georgia announced the split on social media, making it clear that Sam had been unfaithful to her and she could no longer be with him. Since then, Georgia has been living the life of an influencer, traveling, and modeling, and Sam has been doing much of the same but is in a relationship. Sam is dating influencer Scarlett Rae and has been traveling with her when not working on his businesses.
Mike and Tyla - Broken Up
Mike and Tyla promised to give their love a chance on Love Island UK when they were dumped from the villa, but only a week after they were kicked off the show, the pair confirmed they had broken up. As reported by The Sun Online, Tyla was "mugged off" to have to be around her ex and avoid him at the reunion. Since then, Tyla has had a son who frequently takes her on adventures. In 2019, BBC News reported details of Mike's death from suicide, citing long-standing mental health struggles as the cause.
