massive expansions that keep the community happy.
Per Steam, Standing Shore Games shared a lengthy breakdown of the long-awaited Legacy of Morgoth expansion which tasks players with exploring the untamed lands of Near Harad on a journey to unearth ancient secrets buried beneath the shifting sands. The latest region sports a challenge level of 150 and is comprised of four new zones filled with Deeds, Missions, and Delvings. Those looking to spend their time productively will be able to accept and complete more than 350 new quests while another raid is planned to launch at a later date.
LOTRO Is Already A Massive Game
Legacy Of Morgoth Just Makes It Even Better
Near Harad is undoubtedly the biggest addition to Lord of the Rings Online, but Legacy of Morgoth also makes some great changes and tweaks to the established formula. Perhaps most exciting is the Elf update as Standing Shore Games has given the race a much-needed revision. Players now have expanded options when making an Elf, similar to the various looks provided for the Race of Men. High Elves have unfortunately not been included in this latest update but the developer wants fans to know that they'll be overhauled at a later date.
As players adventure around Near Harad they'll need to pay attention to three new faction reputations: The Ikorbani (People of Shagâna), The Phetêkari of Umbar (Tale-wardens), and the Adúrhid. The former is the core group of the expansion and the bulk of the new quests will help players increase their reputation with them. There's plenty to do in the sun-scorched deserts so LOTRO players should start sooner rather than later; Legacy of Morgoth is now available for everyone.

Lord Of The Rings Online's Most Powerful Classes
A player has a wide range of options when it comes to classes in Lord of the Rings Online. Here are some of the best and why they're so powerful.
We Can't Forget About LOTRO
It Deserves Way More Credit
While the bulk of my friends played plenty of World of Warcraft back in the day, I was much more into Lord of the Rings Online. It's a fun adaptation of Tolkien's world that I wish more people would recognize as the fantastic MMO experience it is. I'm eager to dip back into it and see what Legacy of Morgoth has to offer, even if I don't necessarily have the time to delve deeply into the expansion.
