Warning: SPOILERS for Loki episode 4, "The Nexus Event."
preserves the Sacred Timeline to prevent another multiverse war. Through the organization, the concept of variants was also established; technically, it's a version of a being that diverges from its predetermined destiny.
The Loki show aptly deals with Loki variants. Aside from the character who escaped during the New York leg of the Loki episode 4’s post-credits scene introduced a string of new variants such as Old Loki, Kid Loki, Boastful Loki, and crocodile Loki.
But while the ongoing Disney+ show has mostly centered its storytelling on Lokis, the God of Mischief is not the only notable MCU character who has variants. At the start of the show, a Skrull variant was simultaneously being booked as the God of Mischief was going through the same process. This has been the only visual confirmation of this idea thus far. But in Loki episode 4, Mobius mentioned that they have also arrested "Krees, vampires, and Titans." Krees are the militaristic people of Hala and was properly introduced in vampires in the MCU is more likely a nod to the debut of Blade, on the other hand. Lastly and most intriguingly, Titans could very well be a hint that the TVA also had to deal with a Thanos variant in the past.
As is in the comics, the purple villain is from the planet Titan. what happened to Titan, he may have attempted to stop the destruction of his homeworld through other ways, which could mean that he contradicted the planet's predetermined doom. It's worth noting that Miss Minutes' information video features a circular ship looking very similar to the ones found in Titan.
The Loki series also revealed that while guilty variants are mostly purged, some of them are brainwashed and reprogrammed to be of the TVA. Hunter B-20, Hunter C-20, and Mobius all know this thanks to Loki and Sylvie. Given Thanos' genius and commitment to his work, it's not outside the realm of possibility that the organization recruited one or two of his variants to work for them. Assuming that this is the case, it would be a great Easter egg to see a Thanos variant either as a hunter or analyst if the TVA survives the crisis it currently faces.
