A new handheld from Logitech has been revealed, and it has Logitech's device was leaked last month, and comes at a time when there has been a resurgence in handhelds on the market. Previously, Nintendo seemed to dominate over rival handhelds such as the PS Vita, and the Nintendo Switch's high sales seemed to indicate that it would continue to reign supreme. However, handheld PCs such as the Steam Deck and the AYA NEO have recently brought some competition to the market, allowing players to access many games from their PC libraries on the go.

Logitech G CLOUD Gaming Handheld will also be competitively priced cheaper than the Steam Deck, and around the same price as the Nintendo Switch. However, both of those devices allow players to and play games offline. Cloud gaming on the go in some locations that are lacking a decent Internet connection could pose a greater problem for players, as weaker internet connections have posed a frequently recognized problem with cloud based services such as Google Stadia, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and NVIDIA GeForce NOW when gaming at home.

How Logitech plans to counter these issues surrounding cloud gaming to get Xbox Cloud Gaming working smoothly on their new device remains to be seen. Fortunately, players shouldn't have to wait long to find out, as the Logitech G CLOUD Gaming Handheld is due to launch in North America next month, on October 17.
