Halfway through the show’s second season, she disappears altogether, after accepting a promotion to the District Attorney’s office of San Diego. Her move opened the door for Andy Freemann to become romantically involved with Mickey in season 3.

Another exciting aspect of Neve Campbell’s Maggie ing Mickey’s defense team is that she’ll get to work with some of the best-loved characters in The Lincoln Lawyer. The dynamic between Maggie and Lorna’s husband, Cisco Wojciechowski, who typically leads investigations on his cases, and his driver Izzy Letts.

Maggie working at close quarters with the team is sure to create some friction initially, especially given her relative inexperience as a defense attorney. Still, if there’s anyone who can bring them all together, it’s Mickey Haller. Of course, they have no better reason to welcome Maggie and pull together as a team than to save Mickey from prison, or worse. The Lincoln Lawyer has never been as popular as it is now, following season 3’s cliffhanger ending, and Neve Campbell’s new role could provide an additional boost to its quality.
