While I like the new Street Fighter movie cast, please don't let one of them be Ken.

After a change in the creative team behind the film, the Street Fighter movie adaptation is back on track with Andrew Koji, Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo and Roman Reigns all being cast. While I do like them all for the film, I honestly hope that Centineo is not going to be Ken or Ryu, as I just don't really see him fitting the part. Instead, I'd love to see him play Guile, while Koji could play Ru, Momoa as either M. Bison or Akuma, and Reigns as Zangief.

Was Leslie Knope too similar to The Office's Michael Scott in season 1 of Parks and Recreation?

I love Leslie Knope from Parks and Recreation, but I don't think many will disagree with me when I say that she is a difficult character to connect with in season 1. The show is still finding its feet at this point, granted, but I see why some think Leslie is basically The Office's Michael Scott in these episodes. Yes, Leslie is awkward and quirky like Michael, but in her own way. She's not cringey, she's enthusiastic, and even in comparison to Michael "we're one big family" Scott, Leslie cares about her employees and friends a lot more.

Is Ruben in Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage still Georgie's business partner when he appears in The Big Bang Theory?

Obviously, Georgie's new business partner (as established in Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage's season 1 finale), Ruben, wouldn't have been mentioned in The Big Bang Theory, as at the time, Young Sheldon hadn't started, let alone the Georgie-centric spinoff. However, in The Big Bang Theory, Georgie is running the Dr. Tire franchise. Note, it's Dr. Tire, singular, not plural. Of course, it could just be something as simple as Ruben eventually retired, as he's older than Georgie, but I wonder if something happens between them later on.

Is there more to Mrs. Flood's identity in Doctor Who, other than being an incarnation of the Rani?

I've been watching Doctor Who long enough to know that even when it seems like we know everything, we often don't, in reality. I have a suspicion there's more to Mrs. Flood. The reveal that she is the Rani doesn't explain why Mrs. Flood can break the fourth wall, which makes me think there is something else we have yet to learn about her. I've said before that I think that she may also be the Governor from the Saxon Master's prison in "The End of Time," but I'll just have to wait and see.

I couldn't be happier about Conan O'Brien being in Toy Story 5.

After Conan O'Brien's immense success hosting the Oscars, his HBO series, and the ongoing love for his podcast, I feel like he's finally beginning to earn his due appreciation. I've been saying for years that Conan is one of the funniest people alive. I really hope he gets a sizable role in the movie.

How does The Bear season 4 look after the first trailer?

Especially after a weaker season 3, I'm really excited for The Bear to have a return to form this year. I love that it's been reliable for annual releases, and the footage from the trailer looks fantastic. Honestly, it looks a lot like what we were all expecting from season 3, before the show took several detours into Carmy's past.

Does the world really need a Clash of Clans animated show?

The Netflix Clash of Clans show was one of the more surprising headlines of the day to me. I'm not entirely opposed to it, I'm just curious about who the audience will be. If it's going to be geared toward children, I hope there's some thought and heart put into it, rather than just using the IP for something cheap. I suppose that's always my concern when a project is attached to a recognizable brand or title, and it's not exclusive to Clash of Clans.

Does Supernatural's first spinoff deserve as much love as The Winchesters?

While The Winchesters is Supernatural's first live-action spinoff series, the first actual spinoff of the popular show came in the animated realm. I think that Supernatural: The Anime is worth a watch, as it puts key events of the series through a new lens and even offers some adventures that are exclusive to the anime version of Supernatural. That said, I feel like The Winchesters was definitely the most exciting out of the two Supernatural spinoffs so far.

The Last of Us season 2, episode 6 shows why losing Pedro Pascal's Joel is so hard.

Pedro Pascal's Joel Miller was the main character of The Last of Us season 1. His death early in season 2 completely changes the series, and episode 6, which was nearly all made up of flashbacks showing Joel and Ellie's relationship through the years, is the perfect showcase of why he will always be missed. As an actor, Pascal is a powerhouse, not just due to his charisma, but also the way he adds emotional weight to scenes like the porch conversation. Joel and Ellie's banter was also the heart of the show, and losing it is a heavy blow.

Is Superman being weak in the DCU movie a sign that James Gunn understands him?

James Gunn's Superman movie trailers have repeatedly shown David Corenswet's Superman getting beaten up and bleeding. While Superman is usually shown to be an extremely powerful hero who can't be hurt by much, I think Gunn is using this shocking move to show us how he understands the character. By giving Superman so many adversities, Clark Kent's humanity comes out more, and since that is truly the best part of the Man of Steel — his desire to do good and help others with his immense powers — James Gunn's Superman movie is on point.

I watched Rogue One for the first time since it was released and it's so much better after Andor.

Before watching Andor, I had only seen Rogue One when it was released in theaters. So, going back to the movie almost a decade later was quite the experience. With the added context provided by Andor, not only related to Cassian, but the other characters who appear in the show and the movie, as well as all of those that contributed to the rebel cause in some way and are not in Rogue One, the film is so much more meaningful. I now view it as the perfect series finale for Andor, and Cassian's death becomes incredibly more tragic.

Are Green Lantern's powers in the Superman movie trailer what Ryan Reynolds' movie was missing?

While Ryan Reynolds' Hal Jordan did come up with some constructs of his own in the Green Lantern movie, I feel like we should have had more exciting and creative uses of the hero's power in live-action. After watching the new Superman movie trailer, Nathan Fillion's Guy Gardner seems to be just the Green Lantern for the job. In the footage, we see him easily craft a giant hand to hit a truck and some soldiers. I want more constructs with personality and that look better onscreen, and Superman is doing that.

Does Jessica Jones' Daredevil: Born Again season 2 return make an MCU death more likely?

Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones is confirmed to be back for Daredevil: Born Again season 2. I believe that her return makes Cherry a possible death for the MCU series. Both of them are private investigators, but Jessica Jones is also a superhero, so her having a key role in Daredevil's army makes more sense than Cherry and also makes him redundant. With Daredevil: Born Again set videos showing Cherry getting beaten by Mayor Fisk's Anti-Vigilante Task Force, I feel like he could be killed or severely injured, making Matt Murdock go after Jessica Jones to be his P.I.

Tom Cruise & The Revenant director's new movie sounds like the best thing for the star to do next.

There was once a time in which Tom Cruise showcased a nice diversity in his acting skills before primarily focusing on blockbuster action projects thanks to the continued success of the Mission: Impossible franchise. As such, when it was first revealed that he was teaming with The Revenant's Alejandro G. Iñárritu, part of me worried it'd be another action survival movie, which makes me all the more thrilled that the writer/director has revealed there are no such stunts in his film, but instead it is a "wild comedy of catastrophic proportions". Cruise has some real skills in the world of comedy that I've long wanted to see him return to, and with Iñárritu's unique style and approach to comedy, as seen in Birdman, this could be the perfect vehicle for Cruise after The Final Reckoning.

I have one problem with the latest casting of Greta Gerwig's Chronicles of Narnia.

Greta Gerwig's Chronicles of Narnia continues to forge ahead with Carey Mulligan ing the film, and while I would normally be excited at the prospect of seeing her in the franchise, I do have a problem with reports indicating she'll be playing the ailing mother of protagonist, Digory. Though it's kind of an inherent problem of the source material, I feel like that's a character who, unless Gerwig expands, is somewhat of a minimal figure that it's right on the verge of fridging Mulligan and wasting her talents.

Are Nick and Judy on the run from the cops in the Zootopia 2 trailer?

In the first trailer for Zootopia 2, it shows Nick and Judy with Ke Huy Quan's new snake character, Gary, and the cops are apparently trying to catch them. It also shows a mysterious figure overseeing their adventure. Could the police be going against Nick and Judy, or are they maybe following the pair in the hopes of catching a bigger villain?

Is the Lilo & Stitch initial Rotten Tomatoes score surprising?

Lilo & Stitch (2025) has debuted on Rotten Tomatoes with a score of 73% after 44 reviews. This is a little bit surprising considering how well-loved the animated version is, and how good Stitch has looked in the trailers and promotions by Disney. That said, the live-action remakes tend to struggle a lot, with Disney never really finding the perfect balance between shot-for-shot recreations and new or adjusted scenes.

Did the Zootopia 2 teaser just reveal a creepy hooded villain?

Zootopia 2 has released its first teaser trailer and although there is no dialogue at all, it still has fans hyped for the movie. The teaser allows the lemmings to show off their musical skills as they play a tune on the keyboard over several scenes from the movie (we assume), and flashes of returning and new characters. In one scene, Gary the snake, Nick Wilde, and Judy Hopps cower away from a hooded figure. While I assumed Ke Huy Quan's Gary was going to be the main villain, perhaps it is this mysterious hooded character. Only time will tell, but I think Disney Animation might have just revealed something to us.

How can the IT: Welcome To Derry teaser trailer be that terrifying and barely show Pennywise?

HBO Max's IT: Welcome To Derry has released its first trailer, and although we barely see Pennywise in it, it is still absolutely terrifying. Now, to be honest, I have an irrational fear of clowns because I watched IT when I was far too young. So anything surrounding that story is going to get to me. This is an effective trailer that gives viewers just enough to have them cowering behind their hands, but not enough to scare them out of their skin. The laughing and the silhouette at the end got me though, not going to lie.

Which game hooked you unexpectedly?

We all have a game that we didn't expect to get on with, but ended up loving. Sometimes, these titles are ones completely outside of your wheelhouse that you unexpectedly get invested in, or there are others that are very much your kind of game, but for some reason, you think you won't enjoy. For me, it's Balatro. I love playing card games physically, but never got on with card video games. However, once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. In my first week, I sank over 70 hours into it.
