Warning: Spoilers for Plastic Man No More! #1When I read comics starring Justice League's silliest hero use his stretchy powers in fun ways. However, his latest story has taken him in a revolting direction that makes my stomach churn from just thinking about it. In a new DC Black Label series, Plastic Man's abilities get a horrific new side effect that I already know will keep me up at night.

In Plastic Man No More! #1 by Christopher Cantwell, Jacob Edgar, and Alex Lins, Patrick "Eel" O'Brian is in for his darkest adventure yet - and perhaps his final one, too - as his powers turn against him. He gets hit with a death ray while on a mission with his Justice League teammates, and though everyone brushes it off at the time, Plastic Man soon wakes up to discover that his rubbery body has started to melt.

DC's Silliest Hero Just Became the Most Horrifying

Plastic Man's powers have gone haywire, with his arm melting from his body in a disgusting fashion. Usually, Plastic Man can reshape his body however he pleases thanks to his remarkable elasticity, but now he can't even regenerate his arm. His powers are normally a delight to watch, but their new drawback proves how terrifying Plastic Man's abilities have the potential to be.
