The plot of Jurassic Park franchise, humans have given dinosaurs multiple opportunities to fully come back from extinction. Dinosaurs have repeatedly proven their superiority over humans, and yet, they haven't been able to overpower them. With the whole world as a battleground in Jurassic World Dominion, however, the movie has been teasing that dinos will finally come out on top.

Following the destruction of the iconic Isla Nublar in Jurassic World Dominion makes it possible for Earth to return to prehistoric times. Humans must face various species of ruthless dinosaurs that can hunt, reproduce, and could reclaim their status as the apex predators of the entire world. But as dangerous as they may seem, dinosaurs are still at a disadvantage.

Trailers for Jurassic World Dominion tease the impressive reach of the dinosaurs, which have already invaded human society. Dominion promises to feature the violent deaths in a Jurassic Park movie, and considering how high the death toll has been in previous movies despite the restricted scale of the theme parks, humans must be prepared for bloodshed. However, there are not enough dinosaurs to multiply in time and overpower humans, or much less outnumber them. This means that even if dinos manage to beat the odds against human strategy and firepower, it will still be difficult for them to successfully reproduce and populate the world.

The dinosaurs of the original Jurassic Park movie were genetically engineered to be exclusively female, but they managed to adapt their bodies in order to mate and lay eggs thanks to the Jurassic Park frog DNA that was used to fill in the gaps in their genetic code. This ability could be an advantage to the dinosaurs in Jurassic World Dominion, but it still wouldn't be enough to guarantee a victory. The dinosaurs that escaped Isla Nublar were limited in number, and among the few species that escaped, many of them only had one surviving specimen.

It's known that dinosaurs are evolving at an alarming rate, with many of them shown to have developed hair — not to mention the appearance of various new species of Jurassic World dinosaurs that will the fight. To top it off, Blue, the last living Velociraptor, has somehow managed to have a baby. However, it seems that while dinosaurs are rapidly adapting to their environment, they won't be able to take full advantage of their ability to change their sex or fertilize their own eggs before they face the wrath of humans.

Humanity has never been so vulnerable in the Jurassic Park franchise, but they're still a serious opponent for the dinosaurs. Jurassic World Dominion poses the ultimate challenge for both species, which may end in the bittersweet conclusion that the fate of one of them is extinction. Dinosaurs may bring many surprises to the battle, but the odds are still stacked against them.
