Keanu Reeves has provided an update on whether he thinks he will return for a potential John Wick movies. The story of the first John Wick movie follows Reeves' titular character as he seeks revenge for the death of his dog. Its sequels then significantly expanded the world of John Wick and added several new characters. Even though he was seemingly killed off at the end of John Wick: Chapter 4, fans desperately want Reeves to return for a proposed John Wick 5.

In an interview with CBS News, Reeves addressed whether he would appear in John Wick 5 if it was officially greenlit. The actor says he would love to do another movie in the action-packed series, but its he doesn't think his knees can handle John Wick 5. The John Wick movies are all revolutionary action films with several intense action sequences, so Reeves is concerned that his body can't keep up with the demands of the role. John Wick 5 Is Not Currently Being Worked On

John Wick has perhaps become the most iconic role of Reeves' career. Reeves has excelled as the character in four movies, but the ending of John Wick: Chapter 4 seemingly killed him off. Even though the end of the fourth film heavily suggested that John Wick is dead, there are also clues that he may be alive. Therefore, ever since the release of the fourth movie, fans have been asking for John Wick 5.

Chad Stahelski, who has previously directed all four movies in the series, has addressed a potential John Wick 5. Stahelski itted that he would love to make another John Wick movie, but revealed he would only do it if he came up with the right idea. Even though Lionsgate Motion Picture Group president Joe Drake revealed that John Wick 5 would enter development not long after the release of John Wick: Chapter 4, Stahelski has claimed that he hasn't come up with the right idea for the movie yet.

It Is Doubtful That John Wick 5 Will Happen

Based on Reeves' recent comments and Stahelski's previous comments, it doesn't seem likely that John Wick 5 will be made. Reeves' concern about his knees is completely understandable, and it is irable that he wouldn't want to return to the role unless he was confident he could physically handle it. Even if John Wick 5 never materializes, John Wick: Chapter 4 still provided a great ending for Reeves' character. Additionally, he will reprise his role as John Wick with a brief appearance in the Ballerina spinoff.
