It has only been a couple of months since the launch of the iPhone 14, but rumor mills are already churning out reports about its successor. Expected to be launched in fall 2023, the The iPhone 15 Pro Could Get A Major Battery Life BoostAccording to tipster ShrimpApplePro, Apple is planning to tweak the design of its iPhone 15 lineup with the use of rounded edges at the back instead of the more angular design of the current iPhone lineup. According to the tipster, the change might make next year's iPhones look and feel somewhat similar to the iPhone 5c, which had sharp edges at the front and rounded edges at the back.
More iPhone 15 Leaks!
It is worth noting that the iPhone 5c was Apple's 'affordable' iPhone from 2013, meaning if the report is accurate, Apple could be looking to its past styling cues to draw inspiration for its next-gen iPhone series. As a reminder for those wondering why Apple would go so far back for design inspiration, the company based its iPhone 12 design on the sharp, industrial styling of the iPhone 5, so a switch to an iPhone 5c-like styling won't be entirely out of left field.
Meanwhile, the tipster also claims that the iPhone 15 chassis will be made out of titanium instead of stainless steel like the Apple Watch Ultra, probably in an effort to keep the weight down. However, the tipster does say that it is too early to confirm any of the aforementioned leaks, meaning they need to be taken with a pinch of salt for now. Either way, the iPhone 15 launch is still almost a year away, so it will be interesting to see how it will turn out.
