After a few months of Xbox and PC exclusivity, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is getting a PlayStation 5 release, complete with its own Collector's Edition. The Collector's Edition is one of three versions of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle that will be available for PS5. While waiting for the game probably hasn't been easy for Indy fans on PlayStation, it's at least nice that they got to see the game's positive reception before deciding if it would be worth grabbing a more expensive version of the game.

In of game content, the Collector's Edition includes the same things you would get from the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Edition. However, the bundle comes with some extra collectibles that Indiana Jones fans may want to get their hands on. If you're on the fence about the Collector's Edition, I'll break down its price compared to other versions of the game, so you can decide if the extras included here are worth the inflated price tag.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle's PS5 release is scheduled for April 17, 2025. However, the Collector's Edition promises to ship in time for the game's early access period, which starts two days before the official launch: April 15, 2025. To ensure you get your Collector's Edition on time, you will have to put in your order with Bethesda before April 5 if you live in the United States.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on PS5 will have early access. Here's everything to know about the dates, how to get it, and when EA arrives.

The Collector's Edition costs $189.99 and that does not include shipping or taxes. I checked a few addresses in different states and shipping seems to be a flat fee of $20, bringing the total price up to $209.99 before tax. The game itself costs $69.99, or if you want the Edition that has the same in-game content as the Collector's Edition, it costs $99.99. Even at the price point, a digital copy of the game is over $100 cheaper before taxes. You'll want to decide if the collectibles included in the bundle are worth that much to you.

Pre-Order Bonuses For Indiana Jones On PS5 Explained

The Collector's Edition Has The Same Pre-Order Bonuses As All Versions Of Indiana Jones

The Last Crusade DLC Pack from Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Pre-order bonuses for Indiana Jones on PS5 are the same across all editions of the game. If you pre-order the game, you will get The Lost Crusade DLC Pack, which includes a cosmetic outfit and new whip from the third Indiana Jones movie for Indy to use. These are the same pre-order bonuses that were included in the original release of the game for Xbox and PC. It's nice to see that Bethesda isn't withholding any content for the game from the PS5 audience, even something as small as these pre-order bonuses.

The original Indy, Harrison Ford, had lots to say about the work Troy Baker put into his performance in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

As an Indiana Jones fan, I can appreciate getting an additional outfit for Indy from one of my favorite movies in the series. This, coupled with the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom outfit available in the Edition and Collector's Edition, allows you to use any of Indy's looks from before the movies started to go downhill. As much as I appreciate these cosmetics, it's worth ing that this pre-order bonus is available regardless of which version you buy, so you shouldn't count it toward the overall value of the Collector's Edition specifically.

Everything Included In The Indiana Jones PS5 Collector's Edition

Indiana Jones' Collector's Edition Includes Replicas From The Game, A Globe, And A Steelbook Case

To start, the Collector's Edition comes with everything in the Edition of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. This includes the game, three DLC add-ons, and early access. Of the DLC, the most notable is The Order of Giants story expansion. The other two include a digital art book and Indy's Temple of Doom outfit. This s for $99.99 of the Collector's Edition's overall price, so it's up to you to decide if the rest of the items included here are worth around $110.

The first collectible that is unique to this version of the game is a steelbook display case for the game. The game disc actually comes in a typical plastic case, whereas the steelbook is used to house a replica of the Allmaker Relic from Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The replica also has a sticker with the code for your Edition content which is themed to look like a label from Marshall College where Indy teaches. Steelbook collectors may be interested in the Collector's Edition for the case, as it doesn't come with any other version.

Indiana Jones & The Great Circle: How To Solve The Counting Letters Mystery

“Counting Letters,” in the Sukhothai region of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, requires you to use a series of ciphers to turn letters to numbers.

Perhaps the coolest inclusion in the Collector's Edition is the 11-inch globe that comes with it. The globe has the titular Great Circle drawn on it, and also comes with a small plane magnet. The magnet can attach to certain areas on the globe, one of which allows you to open the globe up and use its secret storage compartment. Inside is where you will find another collectible, a replica of Indy's journal from the game.

Although the product description for the Collector's Edition doesn't specify the dimensions of the journal, it can't be too large if it's housed inside the globe. It's also unclear if its binding is true leather or just made to look like it. As a nice touch, the first page of the journal includes a message from Marion Ravenwood, just like the one in the game does. As cool as all these collectibles are on an individual basis, I'm not sure if they add up to being worth the asking price.

10 Best Locations For An Indiana Jones & The Great Circle Sequel To Visit

While Indy has visited many places, many archaeological gems remain that could be visited in a sequel to Indiana Jones & The Great Circle.

With anything like the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Collector's Edition, it's basically a given that you're paying a for some exclusive collectible objects. That said, I'm still not sure if I'm sold on the idea of paying double the price of the Edition for a notebook and a globe that I would mess around with a few times before parking it on my shelf and never touching it again. I could see wanting this if I was a die-hard Indiana Jones fan, but as a more casual enjoyer of the franchise, I'm not sure.

I wouldn't blame anyone for picking up the Collector's Edition of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Were it a bit cheaper, I would probably be more tempted by it. Whether you decide to get it or not, you at least now know what you'll be getting and if you think it's worth it.
