NetEase has revealed a new gameplay trailer showcasing The Human Torch in Marvel Rivals and fans are excited, to say the least. The Fantastic Four are slowly making their way to the roster, with Invisible Woman already available in-game. The Thing and The Human Torch will be coming to the game on February 21, and today, we get a glimpse of what to expect from none other than Johnny Storm.

Though the trailer is less than a minute long, we get a pretty good idea of what to expect from The Human Torch's toolkit, of course, bringing the fire to the battlefield. We also learn that he has a very strong Fire Storm teamup ability with Storm, and can fly around the skies just like Iron Man.

The Human Torch Has Been Revealed In Marvel Rivals

The Details Are Sparse, But Fans Are Excited

While the details on The Human Torch are still sparse, we get a quick look at his abilities, including a teamup ability with already existing hero, Storm. From the video, The Human Torch calls the ability a Fire Storm, which appears to make Storm's ultimate turn into a huge tornado of fire rather than her normal wind tornado. While at the time of writing, we don't know the actual name of the ability, it looks extremely powerful and fun to use.

"You Know What Time It Is:" Marvel Rivals Reveals The Thing In New Gameplay Trailer

The Thing has finally been revealed in Marvel Rivals with a new gameplay trailer showcasing all of his clobbering action.

The Human Torch's basic attack appears to just be bolts of fire, while his shift ability looks to be a slam-down type of ability, almost like Captain America. His left-click ability appears to almost be an AoE type of ability, but this is hard to tell from the video. His ultimate, which appears to be a fire tornado that can be placed on the ground, can be used in tandem with Storm's to create that "Fire Storm" ability we mentioned earlier.

More To Come In Marvel Rivals Alongside The Human Torch

It's Also CLOBBERING TIME!

Not only do we get a first look at The Human Torch, but we also get to see The Thing for the very first time, completing The Fantastic Four in Marvel Rivals. More so, some major updates are heading to the title with the February 21st update, including massive changes to Strategists, tweaks to several heroes, and competitive updates fans won't want to miss.

With so much content coming to Marvel Rivals in just a few short days, it will be hard to decide what to do first; destroy the enemies in comp matches as The Human Torch or take to the frontlines with The Thing?
