In Hulk vs. Thor: Banner of War Alpha #1 by Donny Cates, Martin Coccolo, Matt Wilson, and VC's Joe Sabino from Marvel Comics, the two Thor reminds Hulk of the 17 people he killed in El Paso and sticks his hammer on Hulk's back, pinning him against the ground. However, inside Hulk's psyche, Bruce Banner connects to the augment Hulk and absorbs every punch he's ever taken by Thor, which allows him to push up enough for Mjolnir to fall through his body.

Thor Mjolnir Hulk

The dark moment is capped off by the Hulk smiling as he stands up with a giant hole in his chest. Thor can only look on in amazement as the Jade Giant managed to get through Mjolnir without being worthy. It's an extraordinarily creative and disgusting maneuver by Banner and the Hulk, as he managed to manipulate the weight of Thor's hammer enough to send it through his body. It's exactly the gruesome tactic Hulk will need to continue to exploit to gain the upper hand on his powerful opponent.

If the Hulk is unleashing new moves like how he shifted Mjolnir through his body, Thor might be in trouble in his ongoing fight. Mjolnir is Thor's ultimate weapon, and with the Hulk learning new ways to dodge it despite not being worthy and beating the enchantment currently on it, the God of Thunder's chances of winning just took a significant hit. Hulk vs. Thor: Banner of War Alpha #1 by Marvel Comics is in comic book stores now.
