Marvel's crushed Marvel's Superman in one hand.
Crushing Hyperion and beating up Thanos are feats that essentially no other Marvel hero can boast.
Aegis Literally Crushed Hyperion with One Hand
Even Hulk Can't Match This Strength Feat
Aegis showcased his strength in Marvel's epic Venomized event, from Cullen Bunn and Iban Coello. The comic sees Earth invaded by Poisons - multiversal predators who consume anyone bound to a symbiote (any member of Venom's species), erasing their memories and identities while claiming their body and powers. Led by a Poison which had consumed a Thanos variant, the Poisons took on Marvel's heroes, with Thanos unleashing a Poison-infested Hyperion, aka Marvel's Superman. Despite the character's incredible strength and durability, the hero known as Aegis grabbed him in one hand and crushed him flat.
Aegis went on to fight Poison Thanos directly, keeping the uber-villain at a standstill. The Poisons rallied, but Aegis gave Marvel's heroes time to take the fight to the Poison Queen, defeating the entire invading force.
Crushing Hyperion with one hand and beating up Thanos are feats that essentially no other Marvel hero can boast, making Aegis a sleeper candidate for Marvel's true strongest hero - even though he'll never officially get the credit.

Sorry, Hulk - Marvel Kicks Off 2025 With a New Most Powerful Hero: "The Most Powerful Person in Existence"
Marvel's new strongest hero hasn't just reached Hulk level - they've ascended beyond most gods, and it looks like it's going to be permanent.
This Ultra-Powerful Hero Came from Marvel's Anti-X-Men Push
The Inhumans Were Meant to Take the Mutants' Place
Aegis is just one of the creations of Kid Kaiju, aka Kei Kawade. A young Inhuman, Kid Kaiju has the power to summon - and even create - gigantic monsters and weaponry by sketching them. The budding artist has a range of monster helpers, but his creations Aegis, Scragg, Mekara, Slizzik, Hi-Vo and Fireclaw are his permanent team. Kid Kaiju is an immensely powerful superhuman, primarily because his monsters have whatever qualities he designs into them, explaining why Aegis could crush Hyperion with one hand. The Superman-esque antihero is so dense that, in the recent Avengers #18 (from Jed MacKay and Valerio Schiti), it was confirmed Hyperion could destroy the planet by flying into it at a high velocity.
Kid Kaiju's monsters can fuse into a merged form, known as 'Smasher' (see the final image of the image gallery above.)
Hyperion and Hulk have fought many times, with each dealing the other some staggering blows. However, Hulk has never come close to effortlessly crushing Hyperion. In fact, Heroes Reborn saw Hyperion kill Hulk using his heat vision.
Hyperion and Hulk have fought many times, with each dealing the other some staggering blows. However, Hulk has never come close to crushing the solar-powered hero in one hand. In contrast, 2021's Heroes Reborn saw Hyperion kill Hulk using his heat vision. Sadly, fans aren't likely to see Aegis anytime soon, as Kid Kaiju was part of Marvel's push to elevate the Inhumans brand, seemingly as an attempt to replace the X-Men.
In 2014, Marvel was going ahead with plans for content focusing on the Inhumans (eventually resulting in a poorly-received TV show of that name.) Seemingly in accordance with those plans, Marvel begin to give the Inhumans more and more prominence, including multiple comic series, while downplaying the role of the X-Men, whose film rights were owned by Fox, and who therefore couldn't appear in the MCU. Fans have long speculated that Marvel tried to replace the X-Men with the Inhumans in the name of synergy between comics and movies. If so, the plan failed, as fans didn't Inhumans comics in significant numbers.
Could Aegis Make a Comeback?
He's Guaranteed to Return... But Fans Will Be Waiting a While
Marvel has since refocused on the X-Men (with the film rights now owned by Marvel Studios), and today there isn't a single Inhumans comic on the stands. That makes it unlikely that Marvel has any interest in bringing back Kid Kaiju and Aegis anytime soon, despite the jaw-dropping feats the two accomplished during their brief moment in the spotlight. Of course, no character or idea is ever gone forever in superhero comics, and it's a sure bet that the two will get some form of comeback one day - hopefully with Aegis getting to test himself against the Hulk and prove his superior might.
