One of the unique puzzles in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom comes from Natak Shrine, which players can solve by finding a crystal high up in the skies of Hyrule using Zonai technology. A great reward from Rauru's Blessing can be found here, but players might struggle to figure out where exactly to find the Shrine in the first place. Deliberately vague yet surprisingly simple, players can easily get confused trying to find a solution at Natak Shrine.

Nearly every other Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be identified by a signature cone-like design, with green energy swirling around a seal that players must interact with to enter. However, Natak Shrine has no entrance and technically has not been built yet. Unlike somewhere like Kiuyoyou Shrine, which is easy to spot in the Hyrule Fields, Natak challenges players through its location before anything else.

Link must travel above Lake Akkala and to the west toward the Sokkala Sky Archipelago, eventually to coordinates (3669, 1488, 1157) to reach the area described as Natak Shrine. This may be easier said than done, though, as many locations in the sky can be difficult to access. Thankfully, players can use the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to launch themselves into the sky.

Players may find Natak Shrine in the western skies above Lake Akkala in the Sokkala Sky Archipelago by using Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower to launch themselves into the air.

From here, players should glide to the southwest toward a large island with a small connected outcrop, being sure to avoid the boss fight on the bigger part of the Sky Island. A pre-made Zonai contraption resembling a hovercraft sits here, along with some extra parts like Zonai batteries in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Players may use Link's Ultrahand ability in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to attach extra batteries to every fan on the hovercraft before taking the machine up to the set of islands next to a large sphere formation. A small platform at the very edge of this set of islands resembles the outline of a familiar structure, which confirms the area as Natak Shrine when players get there.

The Sokkala Sky Crystal Quest Walkthrough

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom The Sokkala Sky Crystal Quest Given at Natak Shrine

Activating Natak Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gives players "The Sokkala Sky Crystal" quest, which suggests that ancient grounds may be entered if Link offers up a particular crystal. A small green laser from the Shrine points to exactly where a green crystal may be found, leading players back to the large sphere structure next to the island.

Players can follow a green laser that points toward the green crystal needed to activate Natak Shrine and complete the quest.

By rotating a nearby stone launcher to point toward the sphere, players can launch Link to the structure. Gliding into any opening in this location lets players see an observatory of sorts, with the crystal inside. Using Ultrahand in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on the large orb in the center of the room gives players control to move around the whole structure.

Similar to how players got to this observatory in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players will notice another stone launch pad in the center of the room, only this time, it does not activate on a set timer. Instead, hitting the mechanism once sets the springs back while hitting them again fires whatever is lying in the device out the hole leading outside.

Players have to fire the green crystal toward the platform with the Shrine after balancing the object on the launcher with Ultrahand. Moving the observatory around 45 degrees to the right puts the hole opening directly toward the section of the island where players launched themselves toward the sphere structure. The crystal should travel back and land on that island, with the player soon to follow to bring the relic back to Natak Shrine's entrance in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Reach The Secret Chest Near Natak Shrine

Although players can finish the Shrine here with the crystal, a secret chest lies hidden in the lower parts of the observatory. Instead of gliding to the upper level where the crystal is, players may float down to a lower entrance to find a similar space after revealing the area by moving the control orb vertically. Inside the chest is an item called a Sage's Will, which can be offered to a Goddess Statue in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for a special reward.

To leave this area, players should use Ascend to get to the upper room, then rotate the observatory vertically again so that the hole is lined up with the launcher. This way, players can simply launch themselves out again, using their paraglider to reach the island nearby with Natak Shrine.

Since the only puzzles for this Shrine were in the broader world of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom this time, players can either bring back the crystal or get the chest in any order.

Rewards for Solving Natak Shrine

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Rauru's Blessing area of Natak Shrine

Returning the crystal to the spot where the laser initially pointed from plays a short cutscene that reveals a fully formed Shrine. Players are taken to a small place called Rauru's Blessing within Natak Shrine, which contains both a chest and an altar that give rewards for solving the puzzle and completing the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom quest outside.

Players get an Enduring Elixir and Light of Blessing for reaching the Rauru's Blessing area within the newly activated Natak Shrine.

The chest contains an Enduring Elixir, which gives Link restored Stamina and increases the player's Stamina Wheel. The benefits of this potion are only used up when players consume all the extra Stamina granted, which will likely be on the way down from the Sky Island in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The best reward from this area, though, is the Light of Blessing given at the altar at the very end of the Shrine. Exchanging four of these rare items with any Goddess Statue allows players to earn a Stamina Vessel or Heart Container to bolster their overall Stamina or Health respectfully. Learning how to solve Natak Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may be challenging, but the rewards are worth it.
