Many rare items for sale in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are only offered in exchange for Poe, an alternate currency to Rupees that players should try to farm fast while carefully finding a way through The Depths. Poe is only available in this sizeable underground region, making it hard to collect when players are unprepared to explore this area. However, there are tricks that quickly open up The Depths and reveal Poe hidden in the dark.

One of the hazards players have to be ready for when traveling to The Depths is the Gloom condition, which can "break" Link's hearts into useless gray pieces of health. With enemies and parts of the environment inflicting this, players should find a way to resist Gloom in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom before trying to farm Poe. The quickest ways to harvest Poe in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom come from activating every Lightroot visit, using Brightbloom Seed to reveal areas, and traveling to certain spots after a Blood Moon. The biggest obstacle besides Gloom in The Depths is how everything is hard to see, including Poe spirits along the ground. So the best thing players can do when trying to farm Poe fast is to try and remove this limitation in the area.

The easiest way to farm Poes is to reveal more areas in The Depths by activating Lightroots and using Brightbloom Seeds to show the spots where the Material spawns.

Lightroots are found in spots right below Shrines in The Depths and can brighten up considerable areas to give players a better idea of where Poes are located. Players are recommended to activate every Lightroot they can in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to reveal as much space as possible. Similarly, Brightbloom Seeds are thrown to indicate small areas in patches of light, but this resource is limited and should therefore be used sparingly.

The final and often overlooked method to farm Poesis via a Blood Moon, a natural event every seven in-game days that resets all enemies Link has defeated. Players may need to realize that the Moon also resets all Materials found throughout the game, replenishing Poes in The Depths as well. To exchange Poes at Bargainer Statues throughout Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can use this method to ensure they always have some Poes on hand.

By returning to areas like Death Mountain and spots under Central Hyrule after a Blood Moon, players can gather the most Poes right after they reset. Simply using the Lightroots as fast travel points makes this process incredibly quick. This fast way to farm Poe in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom helps players buy great items at Bargainer Statues, such as armor pieces and other resources.
