WWE 2K25 is the ultimate creation tool for wrestling fans where everything can be customized, including wrestlers' stats. Going back to the N64, wrestling fans have been able to create their own superstars to take to the ring, but you can now make everything from championships, arenas, entrances and much more. However, for WWE 2K25, you can alter the stats of the existing wrestlers in the game, allowing you to update their abilities for your presence.

WWE 2K25 features over 300 superstars to choose from, covering various different eras, from modern day to legends of the ring. While all of these have set overall ratings, their individual stats are what actually change how they perform in the ring, and these can all be altered.

Updating Individual Attributes For Superstars

Thankfully, if you want to make any of the cruiserweights like Rey Mysterio the biggest powerhouse in the business, you can very quickly. From WWE 2K25's main menu, if you press R1/RB, you can navigate to a second set of options beyond the game's playable modes on offer. One of these is roster, followed by edit superstars.

On this page you can see a list of every playable wrestler in the game. While secret superstars you are yet to unlock will be grayed out, all the base wrestlers and any you have unlocked will be able to be updated. Once you have picked the superstar you want to change, you just need to select them and then edit attributes.

Updated stats only affect play (exhibition) and MyUniverse modes. In other modes, such as MyFaction or MyGM, any changed attributes for superstars will not be updated.

All of the main individual attributes can be changed from Strength to Stamina. Two of the most important are the special and finisher stats, as they increase the speed that you can use these special abilities, allowing you to quickly finish off opponents. It also allows you to have the most realistic settings possible in WWE 2K25.

Create Your Own Universe And Stories

The altered stats can only be used in two modes once you have changed them, but there is good reason to do both. The biggest is to create your game and stories how you want them in Universe Mode. This mode lets you create your own WWE Universe how you want it to be, by setting matches, champions, rivalries and much more. By changing superstars' stats, you can make any roster member the strongest or the weakest depending on how you want your story to pan out.

You can also update superstars' stats if you believe they don't accurately reflect how they are performing in real life.

The other reason to change superstars' stats is to complete certain goals in WWE 2K25. These are primarily if you are trying to complete achievements or trophies depending on your platform. Some of these require you to beat certain superstars on a specific difficulty level, including Roman Reigns on Legendary. While normally this can prove very difficult, if you lower the stats of Reigns before taking him on in the play mode, you can make the fight a very easy one.
